    • $134.14 via CSC Gold

  • Google TV Streamer 4K $58 (AUD).
These are currently $156 in NZ.

No NZ delivery though so will have to organise a shipping service or friend to ship it over.

    • It's from harvey Norman Australia, I don't think we could buy this deal.

It's oos online anyway now so definitely not a stop by and pick one up affair.

      • I ordered one via a friend over there.
I guess now it's OOS online it rules out You Shop etc so probably not that useful for people anymore.

It's a shame we get shafted on these deals in NZ

Matter of perspective I guess, grass always greener on the other side kind of thing. I've found NZ to be the cheapest place in the world to buy Samsung phones for example

@Redcafej: Can be a blessing and a curse, this site gets far fewer deals posted than ozbargain or hot UK deals, but also you have a sporting chance of getting the good deals as those sites deals are out of stock in minutes with all that extra traffic. We also don't seem to ever get AliExpress voucher specials on here compared to the other sites.

Our bigger headache is lack of population means less competition in retail space for consumers, that and location wise means it costs more to set up a business here. We got strangely get some great deals on electronics though.

@Everettpsycho: Restrictive rules on posts means people post stuff only to get told they've done it wrong….

Doesn't exactly encourage engagement with the site.

@LupinS: I've not found that to be the case, whenever I've posted a deal.

              • +1

@LupinS: Ozbargain has the exact same rules and some of the same mods but much more engagement - so I suspect the rules isn't the problem here…

@4znDvd: True, although I do think that adjusting some of the rules would encourage more posts and activity, ozbargain has some unique factors that allow it to flourish much more, in spite of some of the rules. Just compare the activity on the live section at night, they're world's apart (even after adjusted for population)

Also, even though nz has a relatively low population (which tbf is similar to Queensland and growing substantially) there are plenty of deals always on, they're just not posted. Just recently I saw the free fast delivery Christmas deal for fragrances at chemist warehouse just as it was expiring, and guess what it wasn't posted here despite going on for days.
