  • Temu: 50% Cashback - uncapped! sounds crazy. Can we use it for multiple orders?

Lots of reports of issues specifically with Temu and Shopback. Don't know why they are still allowed to advertise these deals if they aren't actually delivering on them.

      • Agree, I also had a few issues with Shopback but they usually track. Hopefully they improve.

      • I had issues for my order tracking, that being said once support followed up I got the corrected cashback applied and they also paid it out in ~30 days instead of ~120 some reason.

      • +1

Most of those people seem to be using a browser + shopback extension rather than actually using the shopback app
And/or have extensions like ad-blockers that can interfere rather than using clean stock browser

      • I’ve never had Shopback tracking issues when using their app…. Except for Puma which my support request has been open for 3 weeks

        • I am in the same boat. Returned a couple of items but still would like the cashback on the items i kept.

    • +1

It's uncapped, why would you need to do multiple orders?

      • To diversify away the risk of not being tracked…

        • But then you would have multiple orders you are left to track manually

      • +4

Because Temu returns are only free for the first package for your order and if you find out another item is broken/damaged etc after already sending the first item/s back you have to pay return shipping.

So it makes sense to split orders sometimes. It's also useful to split orders with heavy items because that item chucked in with a bunch of fragile stuff is more likely to cause damage.

        • I have found they are consolidating multipe orders together in the same package now. Agree best to place multiple orders as can return something from order one and then if you want to return something again from order one you combine it with a return from one of your other orders.

          • @Deephardfunky: Different address stops the consolidation.

I don't even know if you need to make them different or just load your address more than once,

      • +1

To use coupons to make the deal even better and as ^

    • +2

Your better of waiting for the 70% unless the item you purchase exceeds $50? If not do multiple transactions of $50 and get $30 cashback on each one on the 2nd June @ 70% cashback.

    • they sometimes do 55% uncapped only for new users - awaiting one of these currently

    • Yes you can! As many as you want

  • +2

While their catalog is mostly cheap crap, there are some reputable brands in there where 50% off is very tempting - Panasonic, Philips, JBL, Lenovo, Xiaomi.

You can even get a nintendo switch:
    https://www.temu.com/nz/-switch-oled-model-red-console-with-…?

    • What a deal (if it tracks correctly)!

I’m considering the 4tb ssd purchase, reviews look alright and it’s from the official store.
    The e-scooters a pretty good.

Anyone else got large item ideas?

    • Care to share the link?

      • Can’t seem to share links here, for the ssd search for

“ SIX 1TB/2TB/4TB NVMe M.2 2280 SSD - PCIe 4.0, Up to 7350MB/s High-Speed Internal Solid State Drive for PC, Laptop & Gaming | Ultra-Fast Data Transfer & Reliable Performance”

        Escooter search “h7 Escooter”

  • Awesome, so I could buy a macbook from the apple refurbished store and I'll get $200 cashback?

    • Apple refurbished store? On Temu?

      • no he's taking about on the 1st 💻 Apple: 10% Cashback ($200 cap)

  • Hey Guys

I work at ShopBack so please let me know via DM if you have any missing cashback or issues and I'll get the team to look at it tomorrow.

The Temu 50% is uncapped and you can make as many orders as you want

    • Does the Apple cashback June 1 include the Apple Education store as well?

    • +2

I DID let shopback know that my Temu orders wernt being tracked and nothing happened. No reply, no help, nothing. Why does shopback keep saying they have temu cashbacks when it dosnt seem to work at all for browser and sometimes not the app either? Its infuriating.

    • Hi, i am unable to DM you

    • Tried to send you a DM regarding a cashback that hasn't been tracked and have an incident open for 5 weeks now. It says you aren't accepting new messages.

    • I’ve got 2 Chemist Warehouse orders and used Shopback app for cashback - but I did not receive anything. Can this still be look at?

      • Hey @cambridge 👋 Sorry to hear your cashback didn’t track. Can you please DM me with your ShopBack email and the order details? I’ll take a look and see what we can do to help! 👍

  • Ok so I got the shopback app and the temu app (I hate using my phone), when I click through from shopback to temu, it says "sorry this coupon is only for new users" is this correct? as nothing on shopback or here said news users only.

    • +3

Use Shopback app, but don't let it open the Temu app, use Shopback's internal browser instead (its just basic chrome browser).
yes as existing customer you'll get the "sorry this coupon is only for new users" it's basically trying to apply a Shopback code for new users but just ignore that.

The way i do it is use the Temu app/or browser dd all the things i want to cart, then when I'm happy with what my order is like i note down all the product codes and clear the cart,
Then go to Shopback app and use its internal browser (as its clean with no addons/extensions) and put in the product codes and add the items back to cart and then place the order.
It's tracked pretty much every time withing 3days without issues

Doing this way allows you to figure out the orders for multiple orders you want to do in order to meet cashback caps (when they have it). Also reduces the time spent in Shopback ensuring the tracking happens rather than some weird issue happening or a times out or so.

      • Does it also work if you add things to your wish list, close temu, close shop back, open shop back, go to their temu browser, and add things from your wishlist to cart?

        • +1

Yes wish list works fine as well.

my wish list is already full with its measly 150 item cap, so I'm having to resort to writing codes lol

          • +1

@Huntakillaz: @Nongin @Huntakillaz Yup, adding from your wishlist works as long as you re-enter Temu through ShopBack right before you check out 👍 Just make sure nothing gets added to cart before you click through—otherwise, tracking might not work properly!

And yep, that 150-item wishlist cap is brutal 😅 Writing codes is some next-level dedication!

      • Just tested it using your method. Will update if i receive a successfully confirmed tracking

        • My items just got tracked, did yours?

          • @Huntakillaz: Yep it did! But i’m not sure how they calculated the figures.

I purchased 17 items totalling $74.36 less gst equals $64.65.

Shopback shows i purchased 17 items but total purchase amount is only $61.18 with a cashback of $30.62.

Do you know how Shopback gets to that figure?

            • +1

              @Martz5: Cool, check with gotyourback,
but sometimes i notice the cashback adjusts correctly after a few days

              • @Huntakillaz: Do you know if you can use coupon codes (temu provided ones) while still being eligible for cashback?

                • +1

@Martz5: Yes I've used fishland/farmland/Temu Circle coupons and saved credit, and they've always tracked and paid out. It just reduces the amount to after those, which the % gets calculated against.

So $100 item with $20 coupon and $10 credit
Means the cash amount you're paying is $70 which is what the cashback is calculated against

    • This is a temu coupon not shopback. It pops up everytime for me to. Your not using a coupon so you will get cashback.

  • Should I avoid all the extra discounts that Temu offers in order to get cashback to track properly?
I note someone referenced coupons above, but I thought the T&Cs state you won't get cashback on "Purchases made with Vouchers or Promo codes not featured on our platform" - meaning the Shopback platform?
Just want to make sure it can track properly.

    • Yep - I'm pretty sure i've seen comments before saying you can't stack discounts, so avoid all the offers you get shown.

  • Looks like 50% off today for new users - @gotyourback do you know if this is capped?

  • +1

    2 June - Temu: 70% Cashback ($30 cap)
Can we make 2x $5x orders from Temu and get $30 cashback x2?

    • Can you rephrase your question. It's not clear what you are asking.

      • Basically what Richienb asked below.
Can you claim that $30 more than once within the same day (today).?

  • +2

Is it possible to place multiple Temu orders on June 2 and get 70% cashback for all of them?

    • +1

will wait to find out too, theres also an app bonus for $10 cashback for a $200 spend on Temu

    • According to the previous post, it may be per order
      https://www.cheapies.nz/node/51655

The OP went on to say that they got $191 cashback all up.

Is that all from that one deal @Deephardfunky?

      • Yup. $290 cashback from the 29th 3 x transactions - $270 on the 2nd from 9 orders + $10 bonus. Dont have a problem at all. =)

  • Anyone had issues with cashback from MightyApe?

    • +1

I had an issue where I added an item to cart, increased the quantity in cart for that item to 2 units and it only tracked the first items value. Shopback sorted it out for me.

      • +2

That happens to me every time I buy more than one of the same items on mightyape. Last one I purchased five packs of rechargeable batteries and only got the cash back on one of them. Purchased two remote control cars a while back andol only got it on one etc…

    • I was shopping during their Website "glitch" and it has my order 2 hours off the actual time I placed it…. Weird!! and didn't match the receipt?!? I'm still waiting for the Cashback to be approved manually but normally shopping through MightyApe is easy in terms of tracking and it can be better to wait for the 8% Unlimited cashback for big purchases vs the Capped 10 bucks 👍🏾

    • rarely auto tracks for me. but can do it manually.

  • +1

Bonus cashback if you buy a gift card (June 3 only)

    • $5 uber eats(2% cashback) is probably the cheapest/most useful to people, the odds for the random prizes always seem terrible(ie I see bugger all comments on ozbargain that people ever won more than $1 in the ones where 10c is the min prize). I think they should publish the odds for such random prizes so you actually know if the $150/200 etc is like 1 in 10000 odds etc.

Theres also a daily check-in challenge ending Jun 10th where 7 consecutive daily check-ins earns 0.1-$200, can see it on the earn more page

      • Yup got .10c for the up to $200
and $5 for the daily checkin

anything above $5 the probably only have 1 of each

      • There is also a $5 Shopback HOME voucher that can be used at Farmers, JBHifi, Spotlight which isn't bad either. Or the $10 Mitre10 👍🏾👍🏾

        • Did your challenge clear immediately after buying a giftcard? Mine was 7hrs ago and not updated

          • +1

@Dunno: Yeah mine challenge hasn't either and I've bought 2 cards ($5 ubereats and $25 doordash)

          • @Dunno: 50c

      • +1

I got $0.50 bonus cashback with my $5 Kathmandu gift card purchase.

      • I purchased a $25 DoorDash gift card just before midday on the 3rd, tracked 2 minutes later but the tracking date shows as 2025-06-02 and I get no orders tracked for the gift card challenge which I joined prior to purchase.
