Honestly, what th the amount of people struggling with this company I would suggest a temporary ban until they can sort out their customer services. My first purchase like 6 months ago was a terrible experience, but subsequent experiences have been fine.

In saying that, I know how infuriating it is to try and get a response from them. Got your back seems more interested in posting deals, than resolving issues.

      • Also having to sign up to a platform to get cashback doesn't really feel like a deal at all. These should be grouped into a forum post instead of posted as deals as they're petty offers locked behind a permanent separate 3rd party platform rather than a one time great deal that you would sign up with the seller to get.

I've only had 1 issue with Shopback, and it was fixed in a few days after I raised a support request.
My other 30ish orders have all been fine.

@gotyourback why are u ignoring my message now after making me send a bunch of screenshots?

  • @gotyourback pls my cashbacks are still ‘tracked’ it’s been 1 month now, can you guys atleast tell the merchant/s to fast track this so that I can go ahead and withdraw my cashack… Been waiting for sooo loooong (pun intended)

    • +7

No. That's not how that works. You must wait the total amount of days stipulated. It's not just ShopBack, but Kiwiwallet, Cashrewards, etc. They all work that way so that you can't get your cash out and then refund the items.

  • Woohoo just in time to renew my NordVPN sub

    • +1

Just watch out its not new subs only - the CashRewards ones in the past have been new users only

      • yep! have lost count on the number of accounts I have

    • Create a new account on NordVPN. Same Shopback account is fine.

  • ive submitted SOOOOO many missing temu cashbacks they get deleted why are you scamming us? even my mum has same issue!

    i email NO HELP
i try your online, NO HELP!

    • Mine and my wife have all been tracked. I know that doesn't help you, but just saying it's not a system wide fault with Temu on Shopback.
We take a few steps when buying, find what I want to buy, then ensure empty cart, close web browser, open Shopback site, and click through to Temu and buy what I want without going to other sites or any links that might disrupt the tracking.

      • +1

Not OP, but half of my cashbacks were not tracked and when submitted report with screenshots and times, they were rejected.
I followed exactly the same steps as half of my approved cashback, nothing different.

Its 100% an issue with Temu and Shopback. I'm going to resubmit the reports, and if they get rejected again then I will just return all those orders. Paying full price on those without using any coupons and still not getting cashback is ridiculous.

See , i will take it to court actually lol. they cannot make offers and then renig , this is not vietnam! , they are most scummy for ignoring us and people see this and realise they should think twice before shopback !

        • +1

I get that u r frustrated, I was too dealing with ShopBack. But no need to bring up or belittle another country. Sigh.

          • -2

@KiwiHunts4CheapDeals: I LOVE VIETNAM ,I LIVED THERE A LONG TIME, NOT BELITTLING IT , BUT THERE IS NO CONSUMER PRETECTION THERE, ITS THE WILD WEST , AND SHOPBACK IS ACTING LIKE ITS THE SAME, NZ IS NOT

really sorry to hear you and your mum have had such a frustrating experience 😔 That’s definitely not what we want for any of our users.

We’re not here to scam anyone — Temu cashback issues have been tricky lately, and I totally get how it can feel that way when things go missing or tickets don’t get resolved properly.

Can you please DM me your account email or any ticket IDs you’ve submitted? I’ll personally look into this for you and make sure it gets the attention it needs 🙏💬

  • I note here that Japan is excluded for the Agoda cashback of 14% but am wondering on the shopback website why this isn't shown?

    • Take a screen shot and should honour offer. As its the website/app your purchasing from not cheapies.

      • Trouble is I already got burned last time they ran the offer. I made the purchase and then submitted a claim, which they told me it was 5.5% and it was definitely correct. Their loss, it was fully refundable and so I cancelled and rebooked this time via CashRewards.

I took a PDF copy of this page, if anyone needs it, feel free to PM me.

  • ALSO BE AWARE NORD VPN DEAL IS NOT 100% , MY COST WAS LIKE 180 FOR THE 2 YEAR AND THE CASHBACK WAS 135 . THIS WAS WHEN IT WAS AT 100% CASHBACK , ON THAT METRIC 120% IS GONNA BE 162
