Just received this text on work phone:

'Hey,
It's nearly Double Data December! Simply renew your $16 plan between 1 - 31 December and you'll receive a one-off double data and double mins. Happy holidays! T&Cs apply.

Contacted Skinny on Facebook to ask if this only applied to the $16 plan. They responded applies to $16, $26, $36, $46, and $66 plans.

I looked through their T&Cs and wasn't able to find anything about this promotion (maybe they haven't updated their website yet)

      Agreed. Just looked at the terms and it says bonus data rolls over for 365 days. $66 plan for me this month then back to the $16.

  This, plus the 2gb weekend data, makes Skinny a great deal for prepay right now.

  I believe 2degrees is still overall cheaper with a combination of $70 and $10 monthly plans.

  Skinny doesn't allow rollover data for less than $16 plan. Plus it's only for 28 days and not 1 month like 2degrees.

  I hope new accounts are eligible for the Double Data December promo, if so:

  Cost: $66 + (12 × $16) = $258/y or $21.50/m ($3.26/GB)
  Data: 4 GB (ref. promo) + 60 GB + (12 × 1.25 GB) = 79 GB/y or 6.58 GB/m
  At least 200 rollover mins every month, unlimited texts and 2 GB free data on weekends (5PM Friday to midnight Sunday) until 1 Mar 2020.

  Cost: (2 × $66) + (11 × $16) = $308/y or $25.67/m ($2.86/GB)
  Data: 4 GB (ref. promo) + 90 GB + (11 × 1.25 GB) = 107.75 GB/y or 8.97 GB/m
  At least 200 rollover mins every month, unlimited texts and 2 GB free data on weekends (5PM Friday to midnight Sunday) until 1 Mar 2020.

  Edit: Just saw in the T&Cs for the Double Data December promo that the promo data doesn't rollover, it should still be used first at least but doesn't avg. out over 12 months very cleanly. Also it says in #1 that it only applies to the 28-day $9 plan and 7-day $5 Weekly plan but then #3 says it's available on every plan renewal from 08/11/2019 to 03/03/2020. Also OP had confirmed through Facebook that it's for all prepay plans $16 and over so it's a little confusing.

  Double data and double minutes offer only available on the 28-day $9 plan and 7-day $5 Weekly plan.

  It is rollover Data:

  Double Data December promotion runs from 1st December 2019 to 31st December 2019. Any Plan purchases or renewals before or after this date will not receive this bonus.

  All new Skinny customers who activate on a $16-$66 28-Day Plan in December 2019 are eligible to receive double the allocation of rollover data and minutes associated with the eligible plan activated.

  All existing Skinny Mobile customers who buy or renew on a $16 - $66 28-day plan in December 2019 are eligible to receive double the allocation of rollover data and minutes associated with the eligible plan purchased.

  Offer excludes Skinny Weekly Mobile Plans, Skinny Unlimited Plans, Skinny Direct Customers, and Grandfathered Skinny Mobile plans.

  Double Data and Minutes given are rollover and will expire after 365 days.

  Bonus 'Double Data and minutes once during this promotions period.

  This worked a treat, thanks! I’m usually on the $16 plan but I boosted up to the $66 plan for this month. I received an additional 30gb of bonus rollover data. Perfect! I’ve been really impressed with Skinny since being with them and I plan to stick around, especially when they do promos like this.
