    Mine is up in August.

May look foe an alternatve option then feels like there is cheaper options out there.

So glad I switched to 2D last month. Paying $8 per month.

Are you comparing apples to apples? $8/month for how much data? Last time I checked, 2D doesn't offer 32GB for $8/month.

      • I mean if you want apples, I am on unlimited for $20 p/m with MM. So $8 p/m might be the best value for what they need.

        • I'm assuming you're referring to this (which comes out to $23.33/month)?

          • @NovaAlpha: Can you use this to top up your existing plan with mighty mobile?

            • @techhit: I haven’t tried it myself, but I’d assume it’s possible—I don’t see why it wouldn’t be allowed. There’s nothing stopping someone from signing up for a new plan and porting their existing number over with a new SIM. If that’s permitted, then directly topping up or modifying an existing plan should be even simpler and likely supported.

I use a dual SIM phone and one of them is paid for by my company. I get unlimited data on it. I still have my personal number that I've kept for over 15 years and that's in case someone needs to call me on it. But these days, everyone can just contact each other via Whatsapp or whatever, so you'd be perfectly fine with just mobile data.

I did however pay for a Mighty Mobile plan and I'm using it for my home internet. Unlimited data and max 5G speed (about 700Mbps on my 5G router) and I'm only paying like $33 a month. Once it expires, I'll just buy a new one and it wouldn't matter if I get a different mobile number for it.

@techhit: Actually, looks like you can.

"Our Plan Voucher is designed specifically for existing Mighty Mobile customers who want to grab a great deal now and roll seamlessly into their next plan."

              • @NovaAlpha: Thank you, my man! Couldn't find those details… cos I didn't realise you had to click the "no sim" option.

          • +1

@NovaAlpha: Nah, I am referring to the last 50% deal.
Just like this deal is limited time, it pays for people to shop around for deals for them. As long as they are happy, all good.

            BTW didn't downvote your question.

            • @Fox419: Cool, was just curious how you got it. I got my fastest plan when they had the BYGOF deal, but I haven't seen another deal like that since then.

Yeah I don't care about the downvote, so no worries. I know some people on this forum love to downvote me (and others). They got me temporarily banned a few times, which I always find funny and it feeds my satisfaction. You can really tell who's insecure on this forum and who cares about their image on social media etc. Very shallow and vain and I love to see them project their misery lol.

Really love the flexability of the 2degreess option.

      • +1

Could you please explain what I need to do to get the deal? Thanks.

        • +2

          Sure thing.

2degrees has a 40gb fortnightly pre pay "plan." For $34

Because the data is carry over you get to keep the data balance if you downgrade thr plan.

2d lowest prepay option is $8 per month which only gives you 150mb.

You also get a bonus 7.5gb if you port your number

You can basically keep running off the original data balance for as long as it lasts you. You can top up your data balance by going back on the plan for 1 cycle.

I dont know if it is still the case but when I was last woth 2degres, if you changednyour plan immidately after the data loads they only charged you at the pro rata rate, so in this case 1day charger at $2.43 ans the remaining 13 days at judt under $7.43

Disclamer though i dont know if thr pro rata trick works for this plan but if it foes you could conceiveably acquire 87.5gbs on your 15th day then go on thr $8 plan.

          • @Seanni: Sorry was having a brain fart. Pro rata charges only work for their Pay monthly plans.
