Looks like a potential pricing error, pricing elsewhere is just under $3k.

Agreed. This is the 2025 model, the 2026 one will be out soon.

FYI the 'any tv' is very generous
I bought a Samsung TV earlier in the year and traded in a $40 plasma TV from marketplace for a 400 or so discount

Obligatory post about how disgustingly bad Tizen OS is. Panels on these are magic tho.
- 3

Newest update made it a bit better. Also, mine at least doesn't have ads like LG does.
- 1

LG ads suck, but you can turn all of them off except for the one in the app store.
What annoyed me more is that I have to use a loopy method to sideload some of the apps I want (Moonlight), and that updates are generally useless and/or worse. EG they installed CoPilot and other junk.
That being said, controller support is top notch (no dramas with four, latency is good) and the app runs smoother than my laptop.

Obligatory post that its fine nowdays

I got a different Samsung TV last year and was pleasantly surprised how snappy the OS is. Remote has a solar panel and USB-C, which is nice too

They are pushing One UI to 2023 and later TVs.

I've been pleasantly surprised.
It doesn't work amazingly with anything plugged in if you dare to power the other thing off (it insists on scanning for what the device is then resetting your picture settings, so, turning off 4k 120 in favour of 4k 60 on my tv every single time my computer boots up)

Yes this! I plug in my macbook and it insists they have never met before and goes through a whole long winded process to get to 4k 120fps. What a a
Saga. That's the main reason it got voted off the island. My other Google TV is instant to set it to 4k 120.- 0

Good to hear! Maybe I will drag out my QN90F from under the bed then haha. It went back into its box after wrestling with tizen.

FYI this is probably an WOLED mode (not QD-OLED)

(EXNZ)https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/s90f-oled#page-tes…
Internationally, most model sizes use a WOLED panel, but typically at least one size uses a QD-OLED panel, which can be identified by the last four digits of the long model code in your particular region; if the fourth last digit of the model code is an 'E,' the TV very likely uses a WOLED panel.
For example, in the UK the 65-inch model ends with TXXU, so you should end up with a QD-OLED panel- 1

Is that good or bad…?

To save a click:
Overall, QD-OLED seems to be on a path to being declared the winner, but there are still some noticeable downsides. If you often watch TV in a bright room, the superior reflection handling and higher peak brightness of pure whites on WOLED panels make them a clear winner. The overall performance of each TV is more important than the specific panel used, and due to differences in specific panels, the best one overall depends on the individual TV. For lower-end or mid-tier OLED TVs, QD-OLED panels seem slightly better, but higher-end WOLED panels with MLA or new tandem panels deliver significantly brighter highlights and better reflection handling.
- 3

@Baagin: Reflection handling is important.
Our Sony is supposedly good at this but it makes any side light a solid beam streak across the whole screen. It’s pathetic despite being touted as a feature.

AE = WOLED and AS = QD-OLED.
55" is QD-OLED. Rest are WOLED.
- 2

Very tempting….
My work horse of a Panasonic 65 OLED has started showing an annoying single pixel white line down the right hand side section of the screen.A shame, because I love that TV (and paid a similar price 6 years ago).

Black tape over that edge is the real cheapies approach
- 7

Won't really work as it's right of the center.

OP, pricing is now $2,995

Looks like the special was just for the Wednesday night market

Price was still down this morning. I'll update the post to reflect the price increase.

Anyone have access to Samsung EPP or can help me get access?
- 0

Didn't someone say this is cheaper on normal store than epp atm?
- 0

EPP price is currently $3,299.97.

Samsung retail site is $2595 after $400 trade in discount (with any TV). Cheaper than EPP which I imagine will discount soon. Probably just aggressive pricing to clear rather than an error.
