  • thanks op

  • Same offer available at Warehouse Stationery but with free shipping too.

  • A positive yes is the discount low pricing level. But check the specs versus your needs first. (So from what I can see in Google for this NZ model : E.G : It appears to be : no e-sim. No usb 3.0. And can't see NFC, so no too ?

    • It's a $139 phone. What do you expect.

      • Mate. No, that's what the Cheapies posting discussion is for - to reveal important info not stated etc. And again as I said upfront "it's at a good discount pricing level". Thanks. 👏

        • I can confirm it doesn't have NFC or esim and it only has 1 speaker so it's not amazing, but considering the price it's great. I bought this phone about 6 months ago for $160

    • its an entry level phone that does what an entry level phone needs to do.
Bought this phone for my daughter 1.5 years ago and still using it without any issues

    • It also supports 4 years of os update

      • good point - in light of all the bugs being flushed out by AI recently the updates are valuable.

      • The page I saw had "up to" in small letters on that and the 4 OS updates part. Still more trustable to do it than some of the other cheap phones from noname brands, its not going to be supported as long as an iPhone.

  • not bad how much ram does it have ?

    • 4GB

      • ooof - this will probably be a bit rough? I have found that you need at least 8GB these days?

        • 4gb may because or ram shortage not sure but 4gb is bad its a mental health issue more then a great deal

        • im still using this phone https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a12_nacho-11041.php i got free from flybuys its only has 4gb of ram still run ok

        • 4GB is fine if you don't install apps and use basic built in apps and calling/text mainly, otherwise you'll have a difficulty time with the phone and hate it eventually
8BGB is bare minimum you'll have a slight difficulty time with the phone
12GB is the current sweet spot o have the phone run functionally smooth with whatever apps you want
16BG is current power user territory

          • @Huntakillaz: i have like 20 apps installed on my samsung with 4gb ram like facebook call of duty and some survey apps and some other apps and games i play and use to make money have no problems

only time i do have a problem is when phone dies and i turn it back on after changing and unlock it the phone will be slow for about 1-2mins because its loading all the notifications once done phone is fine

  • Is this phone unlocked? Meaning can I use a Kogan sim in it?

  • Voting up because it has a Headphone Jack and SD Card Slot!

  • Not sure but i think its network locked looking at the price.

    • (And the 2 degrees model offer of this at TWH , is now showing online as OOS at i believe (?) all TWH stores).

  • Is it dual sim? Been burned before with some models not having that with the telco branded ones.

    • It's dual but the 2nd sim takes up the Micro SD slot

  • Has any kiwis owned an Above Phone?
    Love to hear your experience.

    • my sister bought one today after i told her about the deal she really likes it for the price

  • PBTech and JBHifi have it for $135 now
