To claim the offer:

  1. open the Afterpay app
  2. click My Afterpay (bottom right)
  3. Promos (third from left)
  4. Enter promo code

You will receive a $20 promotional credit to apply to your first ever Afterpay in-store purchase of $50 or more in a single transaction, when you follow the steps in our email to claim this Afterpay Promo.

The promotional credit:

  • is only available to be used during the Promotional Period;
  • will be automatically applied to your first ever Afterpay in-store purchase, to the total original purchase value as displayed by the retailer (including tax, shipping costs) to reduce the value of your four payments equally;
  • is single use only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer;
  • once applied to your first ever in-store purchase, will be reflected in your Afterpay order confirmation and not in the retailer order confirmation;
  • cannot be applied to previously placed orders and cannot be applied to pre-order items or any cross border transactions; and
  • is only available for use only at participating Afterpay retailers (excluding Motorhome Republic, Airport Rentals and Kogan).

    Anyone know how do I contact Afterpay for referrer rewards, refered someone and the referee got the $20 off $50 but nothing on my side.

      You need to make sure the referee spent $50 after discounts (that is if they had a $20 coupon, their cart would have needed to be $70) - for all my referrals it’s been instant

        I think you are right, 2x $50 purchase with coupon doesn't counted as a "$50 purchase", she just make another purchase for $110 and I got the coupon straight away. Cheers.

          You'll get your referal reward after your friend makes the purchase with your referal code. If your friend's second purchase doesn't make use of your referal code then you can't get the referal reward.

      When your referee signs up using your referal they get $30 off $50 on their first purchase if they then enter the code posted in the cheapies deal. They then get $20 off $50 on their second purchase because of your referal. You'll only get $20 off $50 after their second purchase. And you can get this even if your friend's purchase is exactly $50 before the discount ($30 after).

        My friend have make her second purchase of $50 ($30 off x1, $20 off x1) and I still haven't got my $20 off voucher, do you have any idea where can I find info about this cheers

      Just a note, you have to add afterpay card to google wallet (through the instore section on afterpay app) and then "explore wallet" to find card. I was at the vets yesterday excited to save 20 on a 180$ ear infection and couldn't make it work as I kept clicking "add card". Got a bit flustered and just paid in cash, then realised my mistake infuriatingly quickly afterwards.

      Long story short, it could be helpful to set up before going to use!

    Can anyone confirm if this actually works if it isn't your first in store purchase? I know the code can be activated on your account but I wonder if it will add the $20 credit to an in store transaction.

      Your phone must be an older/less specced model like mine, without an NFC chip. Only workaround is to use another phone with NFC hardware.

    I can confirm this code works even if you've already done an in store order before. It's a bit disconcerting because the app doesn't show you the total until you've scanned your digital card, but as long as the promo is on your account, it will deduct $20 from your total. Winning!
