  • Unrelated to this specific deal, but the last time the 2degrees deal was posted, people rubbished it for being the same as a regular referral.

I see the referral codes say $10 now. The 2degrees one is $30. Can these be stacked?
The 2degrees terms say: "during the Promotion Period, register a new Uber rider account through the Uber smartphone app; and before taking your first Uber ride, enter your Promo Code into Uber’s smartphone app" - ie it doesnt say you have to sign up your account using the promo code, just enter the code into the app.

Lastly, when it says "ride up to" $10 or $30 does this mean its only a ride up to that value, or does this count as a credit towards a more expensive ride?

    • Uber lowered their referral to $10 at the end of October so the 2degrees deal would currently be quite good. I see it's at $30 off your first ride now.

You can't stack referrals & promo codes unfortunately. It's either or.

$20 free ride means if your ride is $15, there is no cost to you. If you trip is $25, then you pay $5.

      • Thanks for the clarification. So if i want to use the 2degrees deal, I need to wait for them to send me the promo code then make an account? Their terms only say you can't have had taken a ride before, not that it has to be a new account.

        • I'm not really sure.

        • You can enter the promo code in the area for it if you haven't used one before or taken a ride, which constitutes a new user, as I understand it.
