Just bought a Garmin Venu 2 Plus from Noel Leeming (black) for $399. Unsure if this is an error because the other colours are $749.

    • Hi Jimmy - we bought it instore already ;)

  • Nice spot! Just ordered and got ready for pickup confirmation

  • Thanks just ordered one, don't know anything about this watch but seems like a great deal lol

  • Amazing deal, been looking at these for a while, hopefully they fulfill the order!

  • Same price in-store.

  • Just bought one. Thanks OP.

  • showing as on special order now so may not likely get fulfilled.

  • Called up Lower Hutt and still had them in stock so bought one. Might still have luck tomorrow.

    • interesting as the website shows they are OOS like 99% of the north island. Wonder if the stock checker is not entirely accurate (good for us!)

Technically should be 100% accurate. Heres how it works. Stock is ordered and a order number is created. When stock comes into a store it has a packing slip with item quantities, the order number is put in the computer and items scanned and they should match. Any discrepancies are noted on the system (over/under, colour, model etc.) and those discrepancies are followed up by the sales team, either chasing up the rest of the order or seeking credit or getting the extra ones returned. Every day the admin goes through the packing slips and ticks them off against a receipt register to see if theres any discrepancies as well. When something is sold it is subtracted from the system. It’s all digital so is real time. The only time it’s bad is if the storeman is not good at their job, admin being lazy or something is stolen. The assistant managers do a mini stocktake at least once a week, areas that are likely to get stolen are chosen mostly i.e smart watches, headphones, mobile phones (most of these should be locked in a cupboard, so who could be stealing them? Oh…) etc. If you narrow the window down enough you can follow (via the cameras) the stock around, sometimes it’s as simple as the item was pulled out for a customer then they didn’t want it and it’s left somewhere and it either makes its way home or goes poof. Also, if it’s an inside job a pattern appears pretty quickly and narrowed down to whoever, you can’t beat the system. Returns are similar, every returned item has a “returned item” sticker placed on it and its scanned in, this is to separate it from new stock and when selling the item you can see why it was returned. You won’t see this stock online, it comes under “see in-store for stock availability”. Most staff put “didn’t work for the customer” which is terrible because the first thing the customer asks is “why didn’t it work for them?” and then the staff member selling it will more than likely make up an answer. The actual answer was normally the customer didn’t know how to set the item up. Anyway thats the gist of it. -source, I used to work for Noel Leeming

Changed it from online to in-store only and removed the expiry.

  • I ordered mine for pickup, let’s see

  • I got one, thanks! Now to start running regularly

  • I did a click and collect before OOS was displayed on their website yesterday. Thanks for the heads up.

Just went in store and ordered one in for that price. Cheers

  • Called them for a stock check as all Auckland stores displayed not available. One was still showing stock in lunn Ave and managed to get it.

Worth a call if you have no luck with the online stock checker
