I am very surprised this doesn't count as oversized shipping.

        • So am I honestly.

          • @Sharetank Dude: Also, very limited stock is accurate. As of now only 4 left.

            • @Bill: It'll probably get cheapied and then sold on Facebook 🤣🤣🤣

              • @Sharetank Dude: I do wonder what these can go for on FB marketplace. Not sure the demand is there for 50 inch's

                • @Bill: Weird how a 50 is like entry level these days.

Back in the day 42” was massive.

JVC though, not sure how sensible the cheapers are long term compared to a name brand.

  • Thanks OP. Anyone have any comment on this posted model compared to the 58" JVC smart 4k UHD at $799? Pro is bigger size but cons same resolution as 50" (so not QLED?) plus oversize shipping fee?

    • Why would the resolution change based on screen size? You're not going to get higher resolution screens when moving up in size.

      • You will, to an extent. The limiting factor for the resolution is pixel density. Bigger screen, same res will have less pixel density, ditto reversed. pixel density = sharpness/clarity. But for these tv at 4k at a reasonably far viewing distance, it will be unnoticeable. Should only consider res/pixel density when you are close to the screen for a tv.
