  • Has anyone done a comparison of these to the kmart / warehouse 500ml equivalent?

    • Forgot about those two stores. Main concern would be if they're BPA free.

With Kmart, the 'Double Wall Insulated Bottle' doesn't have BPA free in description. Whereas other items on their store such as the plastic '2.1L bottle with handle' does. Same concern with The Warehouse 'Living & Co Stainless Steel Double Wall Drink Bottle'. The Sistema 500ml @ The Warehouse for $15 is both phthalate free and BPA free though, just had to go to the Briscoes website to find out. Both Warehouse/Kmart bottles seem to have good reviews though, so it's a possibility.

      • Where in the stainless steel manufacturing process is BPA used?

True. Inner lining of the bottle Google tells me. Could be that Cotton On is just using 'BPA free' to attract attention? I guess if it says stainless steel, there's no need to state it's BPA free?

I have no idea. I just post da deals. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

        • I think the lid usually has some plastic on it.

      • Isn't bpa total illigal anyway so bpa free is like meaningless

    • probably be much the same, made in china stuff

Pricing is better/worse/same depending on which you compare to at warehouse.

They're identical as far as I can tell. So many stores sell this "model" with their own branding, at extortionate prices. Personally, I like the ones that Sistema use. They're another branded Chinese generic, but the styling and rubber grip around the lid does it for me. These ones also drop to $10 when Countdown does its fairly regular 50% off sale on the Sistema range (it was on last week).

Note to self: Don't use the word 'Typo' as a brand name, as not to confuse customers.
