Saw this deal on my Instagram. As an Android smartwatch, definitely cheaper than getting a Fitbit Versa or Ionic

Design – New Balance introduced its first wearable, it has a sporty rugged look with steel body and TPU strap. The smartwatch has a 1.39” inch AMOLED display providing crips and clear graphics. The wearable has buttons dedicated for a specified function. The buttons is very useful in case the touch screen is unresponsive due to uncontrolled conditions. NB did not details the waterproof rating of the smartwatch but specified that the watch is waterproof up to 50 meters.

Under the Hood – it runs the Android Wear 2.0 operating system and powered by Intel ATOM Z34XX processo. Sensors and functions in the smartwatch includes GPS, Accelerometer, Heart Rate Monitor, Gyroscope. Additional features are compatibility with Strava and Google Play Music. According to its specs, the smartwatch runs for 1 day with a normal usage and 5 hours if GPS and heart rate monitor is active.

    From some reviews, the watch only lasts around 4 hours when the GPS is on…

    • Yeah, the reviews are pretty mediocre.
