    Agree, this is an event for staff, council and Auckland Transport, teams who worked on the project etc. Downvoting.

  10 years, ~$5.5 billion, and just 3.45 km of tunnel. That’s an international joke and a disgrace for Auckland.

    John Key: Doesn't fast track CRL, delays project by years. Forces project to scale down, lose a brand new (possibly grade separated, long curved platforms, don't listen to the excuse planners gave for cutting the station) Newton Station, we get a redeveloped existing station at Mt Eden hooray. Doesn't support Len Brown, delays project by years. Only supports just as he leaves office. COVID hits, project could've been mostly done by then and avoided a lot of cost blowouts and delay.

    Now when it's about to open John Key makes a video with Len Brown talking about WE made this happen. Bill English, Grant Robertson also have their hands dirty

    Interesting. I was invited and the staff didn't bother to check.

    Even if they did want to, there were far too many people in attendance for checking to be feasible.

    Per the FAQs - looks like any Aucklanders can attend:
    Can I register for ticketing information?
    Aucklanders can pre-register their interest in these events now using this link CRL Sneak
    Peek. Tickets will be available on the 31st July for all three events. Those who pre-register
    will get an email alert as soon as tickets are available to sign up for.

    Can confirm they don’t check. Checking would literally create a standstill bottleneck of epic proportions.
