$1624.82 on Farmlands

How does one sign up to this
- 0

By becoming a Farmlands shareholder, requires the purchasing of shares and only worth it if your rebates earned in the year offset the cardholder fee. Discounts at many places
- 0

You buy $500 of shares, and when you decide it's no longer worth it, you must email them to advise them. You must then cease to use the account for 12 months before you can sell your shares back to them. It is not a quick process.

@hamez: I'm over $1000 in rebates plus discount at point of sale savings so far this year for items that would have been purchased discount or not. It all depends on your individual use of the card, as I mentioned above
- 0

@Matchiz: Oh, I don't disagree there's value; however, we didn't utilise it enough. When it came to cancel, I was frustrated that it took a year, but I should have probably read that before signing up; not blaming anyone; just saying know what you're getting into. i.e. a kitchen from M10 with a 10% discount will almost instantly recover your initial $500.

@hamez: The card fees keeping going up as well, including additional cards which eats into the savings. Pretty time consuming to compare it to other savings and work it all out.
Once we've got our new to us house job list done we'll have to work out if it's worth keeping. Diesel at truck stops has been useful. Z atm is 2.239 (2.429 minus rebate of 19c). Usually it beats the Thursday discounts (2.396 Dunedin today) elsewhere

@Matchiz: Do Farmlands discounts always beat CSCBG discounts at Noel Leeming? Are you able to see the Farmlands prices for Mitre10 and Bunnings before going to the checkout?
- 0

@xsolider: Hello, I haven't compared the discounts at Noel Leeming sorry as I don't usually buy much at Noel Leemings.
Yes, with Mitre10 you add the Farmlands card to your account to see the pricing online. With Bunnings you use the Farmlands trade log in to see pricing online. M10 won't show timber pricing online but Bunnings does
The discount pricing is also available online with Placemakers and Blacks FastenersOther places such as briscoes, rebel sport, repco and the warehouse use a simple percentage discount

@xsolider: They are either way with CSCBG, always very close.
And yes you can see Farmlands prices for Mitre10 & Bunnings prior to checkout.

How? What do you mean Farmlands?
- 0

Farmlands is a rural co-op. Buy some shares, get rebates at many retailers and suppliers
- 1

Yep, I looked it up afterwards, thanks. Good news is I can use my N3 card too

Can you play Black Myth: Wukong on this? Is this any good?

at 1080p it'd be ok but you're better of getting a pc elsewhere that you can actually upgrade later
Hp/Dell prebuilts are known for using custom parts especially motherboards and psu's so if they break you can't just get another one you have to buy the specific one from them which is usually a much higher price- 1

Better wait…
- 0

There's a few normal pc's on trade me around this price and similar spec'd, unless you're worried about warranty.
- 0

Why do all motherboards in prebuilts from the big companies look like they're from the 90's? My current mobo is 60% heatsinks, the one in this has one little heatsink on it and the rest is a barren wasteland of bare components like something you'd see in the original Tron film.

saving $$$ == more profits

This looks like an error as the worse model is more expensive. https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/p/hp-omen-16l-amd-ryzen-5-8400…
