  • For gamers, would this qualify as a gaming monitor ?

    • I would say its good for gaming. (its not fhd 60hz monitor.)

    • I got one and it's good enough for my needs gaming wise. No chance I was going to run 4k and at this size games look good.

Only annoyance with this is the inputs, I have a PC and use a work laptop, it would be nice to be able to leave a switch 2 dock plugged in just as it only has one DP and one HDMI I have to move the HDMI cable between devices so don't tend to bother using the switch 2 on it.

    • Depends on your gaming. Single player or slow pace co-op? sure. Competitive of fast paced games? maybe not: Everyone has different expectations.

      • 1 ms MPRT
      • 4 ms GtG (Gray-to-Gray) in Fast mode
      • 8 ms GtG (Gray-to-Gray) in Normal mode

That's the kind of area these cheaper 2k displays are going to be most noticeable for gaming. Either you leave it default and you might find that it doesn't feel very responsive, almost laggy, or you turn on overdrive and have artifacts. Sometimes you can find a balance, sometimes not. I had this issue with a $300 1440p display I got 2 years ago that had great reviews online but once I got it I had to enable overdrive and then get used to the overshoot.

  • Nice monitors, do not have height adjustment capability - just FYI
