What is the Promotion about?
We are rewarding you to share dosh with your mates.
This Promotion (the “Promotion”) allows dosh customers to earn a referral reward (the “Reward”). It's easy: every time your unique 8-digit referral code is used to successfully join dosh and open an account, you get paid a $50 Phone Dollars as a referral bonus and your friend who signs up will also receive $50 Phone Dollars. You will only be paid the Reward if you, and the people you refer, meet the criteria in these terms and conditions, so please keep reading to find out how the Promotion works.
This Promotion runs from 23 March 2026 9:00 AM NZT until 5 April 2026, 11:59 PM NZT. We call this the “Promotion Period”.
You, and the people you refer, must meet all the criteria during the Promotion Period. If you or they do not, or if you or they partially meet a criteria during the Promotion Period, you will not receive a Reward.
Who is eligible for the Promotion?
Anyone who has received an invitation to the Promotion directly from dosh or dosh users are eligible. If you have not received a dosh referral code directly from an eligible dosh user or dosh, you are not eligible.
What do you need to do to earn the Reward?
To earn a Referral Bonus, you must be a registered dosh user, invite a friend to sign up to dosh, and ensure that your friend does the things we set out below. Inviting someone to join dosh is easy.
Just open your dosh app, tap More – Invite Friends – Share your invite link. You can invite friends from anywhere in New Zealand. As long as they are aged 13 or over, have a valid NZ Driver’s Licence or Passport and an NZ mobile phone number, they can join dosh.
The invitee must use your unique code for you to be eligible for the Promotion.
The maximum number of people you can refer is unlimited.
Your rewards will be paid in One NZ Phone Dollars into your One Wallet within 7 days after the invitee has successfully joined dosh.
Until 5 April all Dosh referrals will earn $50 for both the referer and the new user. This is on top of the $50 for new users when you first use a card: https://www.cheapies.nz/node/54905
New users have to enter a referral code when signing up - see the referral box below to randomly get one from another Cheapies user!
The reward will be paid to the referrers and the referee’s One Wallet balance within 7 days after the referee has successfully signed up to dosh.

dosh isn’t enticing to me anymore since their awards have moved to the one nz phone dollars.. minimum is the 24 months contract to use any of these and even if the phone is essentially free the contract just doesn’t sit right to me…
