Good time to buy Evo SL shoes.

    • My thoughts precisely. Bought 2 x , and a pair of Terrex

    • Are these usually not discounted?

      • +1

They had a shortage last year due to high demand, Rebel had them on special but not as low as this price.

      • Never seen them close to $132. Occasionally they dip down to around $160 on clearance in last sizes, but this sale has a huge range of colours and sizes available for $132 which is a steal for shoes of this calibre which haven't fully hit outlet yet.

        • Cheers

They sell but won't deliver. Avoid Adidas NZ!

    • +2

Agreed, I had so much hassle from them. Takes them 7 days just to look at orders, then cancel them. This has happened to me multiple times. I gave up on the end. Avoid !

    • I have never had an issue myself with them.

    • Love my evo sl but Adidas support has been difficult recently. My last order had the correct city showing in the order address info on the website but on the parcel label was just the suburb so it ended up in a different city with a similar road name. Adidas drones said not their problem as tracking showed delivered. I ended up sorting myself with the courier and original recipient to get the order retrieved and redelivered.

    • Bought there a few times and had any issues. Sometimes it takes longer from overseas.

  • +1

Never had a problem with Adidas, ordered 10+ times, of course shipping is not the fastest.

  • Does anyone have a successfully requested a rebate from adidas? I just bought a few days ago (item is still being delivered)

    • I talk with CS and suggested to buy the discounted one and return my 1st order instead.. A bit hassle but will not complain

      • Just so you know, returns via Adidas are currently super broken. They're using Post Haste as their pickup partner, and it has literally taken over a month to get them to pick my return up.

        • If you need to return something right now, good luck. My package is still waiting to be picked up after 4 weeks. And they won't be refunding you anything until they have received and checked the return. Their web policy is very strict - no replacements even if item is faulty and you can't return to a retail store.

        • Yikes, thanks for letting me know.. I will be out of country next month so might probably need to ask our friend to pickup in their place instead

        • +1

Wouldn't you just drop to the Post Haste depot in that case?

  • Because of these sales I look like run DMC. Somehow Adidas has become cheaper than most of the other places I usually shop from. I've got shoes, trackpants, shirts, hoodies, hats, socks and jackets hahaha.

I too picked up the green adizero sl evo shoes

  • Already said above but great deal for Evo sl shoes!

  • I see the evo sls being mentioned quite abit, what’s so great about them?

    • One of the best running shoes made in 2025, they are very versatile for different speeds. And best of all they are way cheaper than Superblast 2.

      • Top 1% of running shoes in 2025.

Shoe tongue and laces suck apparently.

But foam is the best and its a fast tempo shoe

        • Do you know how they are for mostly walking? Are these usually not discounted?

          • @Totto: Theyre still relatively new.

And on release was very limited as marketing strategy.

So surprise to see them in Outlet.

Check out online reviews. Im a 5km to 10km runner so this suitable as a daily

      • How are they for walking?

        • No idea if they are suitable for walking, but they aren't plated so i suppose they should be ok.

        • They would be very comfortable for walking, and will probably last longer as a walking shoe than a running shoe, since walking puts less stress on them.

          • @ScoobyNZ: Thanks. Keen to try them on now. Would you know how they are width-wise? Some reviews say they are narrow and some say it's good for their wide feet.

            • @Totto: Oh yeah I don't know. I've gone with my normal size, but every single person is different. Look up The Run Testers on YouTube, they rate the Evo SL very highly

        • Evo SL don't have a lot of structure to it so is not super stable. If you have pronation, it will collapse inwards over time. They can be used for daily walking like any footwear but there are better ones out there.

          • @bottomcoughs: Very interesting tip thanks! Being not very stable (meaning lacks support?) hence not really recommended for pronation, would it also be the same for supination?

            • @Totto: The mid-sole foam in Evo SL is close to their best running foam and is designed for rebound and long-distance comfort. It runs the length of the shoe so the heel area can be a bit soft and unstable for everyday walking, so there is a higher risk of rolling your foot. It depends on how you plan to use it e.g. walking a trail - no, walking around in the office - probably ok. Other models like Adidas Boston 12 or 13 are better for walking as the heel area uses a firmer foam.

And could be cheaper if you use Shopback.

    • Shopback will have a 12% cashback but only from 13/02, there will probably have no stock left by the time.

    • 2% is 2%!

  • Anyone know of any Adidas non-marking Badminton shoe??

    • They launched into badminton a few years back. Did everything including racquets. I don't think it was very successful, but they're still around. Rather than looking for badminton specific, try searching Adidas indoor court shoes.

      https://www.playerssports.co.nz/products/category/791/5/adid…

      • the problem with adidas badminton shoes is the pricing, for the same price or cheaper you can get a lot more affordable/suitable pair from brands like Mizuno, asics or hundred who are more experienced in badminton performance (they will last longer too). if you ever find a adidas pair close to sub $100 nzd you could give it a try, if not i would recommend exploring other brands instead. just make sure you know the difference between non marking and general indoor court shoes as badminton clubs in nz can be quite stingy with that.

  • This morning I received confirmation of my order shipping, so I'm happy about that. Evo SL shoes en route !
