  • I know you can't use promos, but can you use credit to pay and still be valid for cash back? I have so much of it..

No credits are excluded from cashback.

    • How do you get a lot of credit?

There was a promo where if you bought everything in your cart within five minutes you could get $40 in credit. Also if you click on 'price adjustment' on your past orders it will refund the difference between what you paid and what it is selling for now. Often it's just ten cents but sometimes it's $4 or more

You can use the credit for your order, but the Cashback is only calculated on 50% of the remainder of what you paid

  • OP - Where did you find this offer? Upcoming promotions only extend to the 2nd February for me, they used to extend out close to a month.

On the app click on "Popular Upsizes" to go to "Upsize Calendar" and search for Temu

  • Thank you!!!

    Here’s a little trick I’ve been using:
Go to the Help Centre in the Temu app and tap Contact Us.
Ask them to "remove the minimum order amount."

It will say they can’t do that, but often offer a discount coupon instead. Just tap “Yes, please send it to me.”

Sometimes the coupon offer doesn’t pop up, so I just ask, “Can I please have a coupon?” - YMMV on if you actually get one.

I’ve gotten 20% and 30% discount codes this way and have stacked them with cashback without any issues.

    • I just did this but the coupon has to be used within 7 days. Might be better to wait until closer to the discount day.

      • Sometimes if you do the same as above, they will give you option to reactivate your expired coupon. It is YMMV, but couple of times I could get it while other times didn't work.

      • Yep, it’s only valid for 7 days. Thanks for pointing that out!

    • This was mentioned a while ago in the General Discussions section. I think you're able to get the coupon once month (it won't give you another coupon if you're within a month of when the previous coupon was issued).

Recently though, they've stopped giving them to me altogether, even after waiting more than 1 month before asking again :(

I did consecutively ask for coupons every month for a year, maybe that's why it's stopped XD

      • do you have problem with your tracked cashback? like they get rejected the next day? I got a feeling this is like clicking on the spinning wheel and getting the promo coupons.

        • Fortunately I haven't had any issues with tracking cashback.

Whenever I use/get coupons on Temu it's always via receiving them through the chatbot, never through the spinning wheels.

In my experience, those spinning wheels give coupons where you have to spend x amount to actually get that coupon…very deceiving.

    • That's interesting, I thought you couldn't use other coupons if using Shopback. Does the coupon automatically apply once you enter the App from Shopback?
I've had rejected Temu orders without using any extra coupons so I'm quite wary now

  • anything good that you want to buy, some suggestions please:)

Stuff that I've liked from previous orders:

      Polarised sunglasses
      Toothbrush holders (suction cup)
      Battery testers
Silicone Toilet Brush - these ones seem to hold up so much better than the normal ones because they actually have some flex to them along one axis
Basic kitchen utensils (peelers, scissors, spatulas etc)
      Kemei hair clippers/trimmers
      Children's gumboots
Self adhesive wall stickers (for kids)
      LaZboy/armchair covers
      Mini Magnetic Screwdriver Tool Kit
      Digital calipers
      Phone cases

      Gardening stuff:
PVC Garden Trellis Mesh (great for peas/beans)
      Seedling plant covers
      Irrigation stakes
Garden support stakes (I usually get 120cm length)
      Velcro plant ties

      • wow, thank you very much, u r the man, will check these

    • Though it’s getting cooler, I’ve previously bought many humidifiers (usb) from different suppliers.
This was the forth summer and they all still work great.
I use my heat pump conditioner noticeably less often.
Just buy spare refills when the water dirties them, and make sure they are long enough!

I used to hit a supplier hard on qty when on special (eg. tissue), but they soon closed that loophole.

Some torches are razor sharp, so be ready to return a few.

Bought 200+ steel pegs, which ended up cutting clothes due to lateral movements (clumsy family member), so be warned.

      • Yeah I made the mistake of the cheap metal pegs too, cut my fingers on sharp folded metal while using them because the quality control was so poor.

  • I would be wary of spending a large amount my order didn’t track last time, I haven’t given up hope yet though just be ready for a long email chain. Smaller purchases have always worked for me though

    • Do you know why it didn't track?

      • Will update here when I get a human response. I bought a tablet

        • have you gotten some coupons before. Got a feeling these coupons eventually flag the account, preventing the tracked cashback to work properly
          keep us posted.

        • I bought a tablet 14Jan and it's tracked

    • On the other side of this, I've placed nine orders over the last two decent cash back offers and they all tracked.

      • What was the value any over $200, all mine have tracked historically but all have been under like $60

        • Nah I don't think any of mine were over $70. That's interesting, I hope you get it sorted.

        • Last time (around 2 weeks ago) my order for over $500 was tracked, it took a few days but it came through eventually

    • Have you messaged the store rep on here? They were quite responsive and willing to help when I had an ali express order track but miss some of the order of.

  • Only showing till feb 6th on mine
