Temu: Good High Value Items

With the 50% cashback today and for future uncapped high cashback.

Whats some higher value items that you've purchased from Temu and found them to be really good!

I've managed to get; all working, brand new, no issues.

  • Ryzen Cpu's (5600x, 5600) [mix of OEM/Retail Box]
  • AMD B550 motherboards [Retail Box]
  • 65-70Cm Storage Cabinets Similar to this(temu.com) The wheels are shit but use em without staying under 5kg per box for the stuff you store in it is ideal for it not to bend the shelf perfectly fine for lighter stuff, great for apt/rental living as easily moveable and won't need to get packing boxes.
  • Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2024 | 11" 2K Display, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage [Retail Box]

Note: The shop's that had the AMD CPU/MB is gone now sadly, been waiting for them to comeback
This was mostly last year I got these, tablet got this week

  • Maybe good to be cautious. Personally, I always regard cashback as a bonus if I get it, not a given.

If you would have been buying regardless, then all good even if you don't get the payout.

    • cashback, fixed

Yes be cautious, but so far all my Temu have tracked and been paid.
But yeah most of these items i got cheaper than i would buying from here/aliexpress so it's not a big loss even if it didn't pay out after 90days. But getting the cashback is always as a bonus.

      • Cool :-)

  • That tablet looks tempting.

Edit: AliExpress has 8gb/128GB for $265 delivered
    Temu has 8gb/128gb for $332

So kind of expensive if cashback doesn't come through

    • If you're using coupons like $50 off $200 / $60 off $200 / $70 off $300 to bring it down (Acquired from Fishland/Farmland games) + Temu circle (gives max extra $30 + ~$12)
it's better price than Aliexpress, especially with 90 day returns..

I'd opt for the Redmi/Poco Pad or Xiaomi Pad 7 though if you're willing to risk it.

      • I thought coupons and cashback don't work together

I am after a decent display for homeassistant dashboard. So don't need to much power or any thing like that.

        • The coupons you win from those Temu games work fine with cashback, I've been doing so for the past year no issues.
Gotyourback also confirmed it previously that they're OK, you just get cashback on the actual amount you pay after coupons and credits

      • Wasnt it a long loop before you finished the Fishland game? My fish have been cooking for the last 6-8 months and still not complete!!

        • +1

Yeah they use to be able to be done in 6months or less without buying much, but since last year they've changed it so its taking upto 9months if you don't buy much. They also reduced the prize values.

But I'd rather play that, doing the daily's on the dunny or whilst watching a show than some game with no benefits

          • @Huntakillaz: Have you read the T&Cs?

I haven't, but have for a bunch of their other "games" - and for all the ones I have always a "this is not an actual game. Everyone receives the same "prize"" disclaimer in there somewhere.

May not be the case for this since you actually seem to have to do something and not just participate. But I hate to think of all the people who get pulled in by their fake comp crap.

I made the mistake of reinstalling their app yesterday - here were so many "game!" And "you've won" animations I ended up not buying the thing I had actually intended on buying! A literally 2+ minutes of splash screens!

  • was the storage cabinet you got also coming up at $145? isn't that pretty high for a small cabinet, or have i got something wrong

    • It really depends on your needs, like you could get this: https://www.bunnings.co.nz/maclaren-800mm-2-door-cupboard_p0…
but if you're renting and may need to move it's a bit of a hassle with that

With renting these cabinets are easier as they can also double as boxes, plus changing their stack-able heights is easy
Plus I got them cheaper with Sale + Coupons + Cashbacks
I've gotten 5 tier ones for around $80-$120 total spent (there's different styles that go on sale at different times)
