  What's a travel SIM for specifically? Cheaper phonecalls, texts and data overseas?

    It's for data. So, you can use maps, Uber, Didi, WhatsApp, Alipay, WeChat etc. etc. while travelling. 3gb for free is pretty good. Usually its only 1gb for free. When I last went overseas (Fiji), I had to use two different 1gb free esims for the week.

      I got one right away once I saw this post and it worked then. But the wife didn't listen and now its not working for her… Oh well, no 3gb of data for her for our upcoming trip in March.
