Temu 80% Cashback for All Customers! (updated from original 70% as per gotyourback comment)

Capped at $40 per transaction.

1.Historically with the 70% cashback rate you have been able to place multiple orders of approx $54 and recieve $30 cashback on each order. With it now being 80% cashback you will need to spend approx $62 to recieve $40 cashback on each order.

2.Please check T&C to ensure nothings changed.

These higher cashback rates are becoming less frequent and appear to now be for a reduced period of time 24 hours ~ down to 4 hours for this one. The last 70% offer was on the 1st October. Prior to this there were at least a couple a month.

    • I did also see a banner stating the 50% Temu was uncapped but that was before midday. It's no longer stated now.

      • It never states capped in the terms so I'm assuming it isn't capped.

        On the last 70%, It tracked within 24 hours for me. Just keeping a close eye since I got burned badly in August on multiple orders 😩

    • Came here to check the same thing. First time using Shopback, followed the instructions to a 'T', will be a bit disappointed if it doesn't work out.

  • Would have been tracked by now if all done correctly. @Kiwi got his tracked in 19hrs

    • Six out of seven of my 80% have just come through. Not my 3:55pm and a couple of $100 orders which I should get $42.50 each on but sure these will to.

  • Tracking came through for me last night. Two issues though:
    1. I placed 7 orders. Only 5 of them tracked. So might have to chase cashback for 2 orders with Shopback.
    2. I don't use Temu often. I thought they just took the order value, took 15% GST off, then gave you 80% of that? It seems they took 15% GST off, then took off another 6.5% then gave you 80% on that amount? Any reason for that? Is 6.5% the fees that Temu charge to sellers on their platform perhaps so they aren't giving us cashback on those fees? Or both fees and credit card charges? I can't see 6.5% disclosed anywhere.

      If they haven't shipped yet, I'd recommend canceling those 2 orders that didn't track. Shopback are voiding everyone's missing cashback claims on Temu for several months now and basically state "nothing we can do" if you follow it up.

      I've calculated that the amount of GST + Fees that Temu takes off is 18.5%. It's a mystery what the extra is for.

      To get the full $40 on this particular deal, the total spent needed to be $64

      • I've calculated around 22.5% they have taken off. So, my order totaling $52.20 was tracked at $42.67 which then 80% is $34.09 cashback. So to get the full benefit, you needed to spend around $61.20 (61.20 / 1.225) * 80% = $39.97. To play it safe, it looks like my biggest order was $58.57, as I was calculating 15% for GST only.
        It looks like my orders that haven't yet tracked have already been shipped. They were shipped yesterday. I have actually had good luck with Shopback in the past. I don't give up until they say yes. I've never had an issue after personally getting in contact with Shopback. If needed, I PM @gotyourback, but most of the time, I can get in touch with someone personally at Shopback.

        My total orders:
        Spent $358.64 100%
        Cashback tracked $171.36 48%
        Cashback not yet tracked $62.90 18%
        Net cost $124.38 35%

        So, ignoring GST etc., it looks like it was 65% cashback/discount

  • I made 5 separate orders and all my purchases show tracking.

    On one of my orders I purchased 5 items but now realise I've purchased the wrong product (on one of those 5 items).
    If I return this item will this void my cashback for this particular order?

    • No, it only voids the cashback for that item. Each item tracks separately within the order, you can see it broken down in the Shopback app. If it hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel that one item by itself btw.

    • Yep that’s right — if you return or cancel just one of the items, only that item’s Cashback will be affected. The rest of your order will still stay eligible 👍

      As per Temu’s terms, any rejected, cancelled, refunded, exchanged or returned items won’t qualify for Cashback, and for partial returns, the Cashback will be prorated accordingly 😊

        Items added to your cart prior to clicking through from ShopBack will not eligible for cashback.
        Any cancellation of an item—whether partial or full—will result in the entire order being ineligible for Cashback.
        Items that were added and paid through one click pay are not eligible for cashback

        • Good question! The Temu terms shown in ShopBack’s listing are the most up-to-date ones — so in this case, partial returns or cancellations will just prorate the Cashback rather than voiding the entire order 👍

          The line about the full order being ineligible refers to cases where the merchant’s system cancels or refunds the whole transaction, not when you only return one item. Hope that clears it up 😊

  • Ironically I normally have zero problem with tracking on temu.

    However; this time I made 7 orders, each around $60 NZD., so about $400ish (All shipped already)

    Should have $320 of cashbacks tracked.. only have $80 :S

    Ill give it a few more days, sometimes it can be random as with the timing.

  • Still nothing, ill try a shopback missing report and then send back if nothing comes from it :S

    • Same happened with me. Three orders but only the first one tracked.

      Closed Temu in the app every time I had to make a new order. Three different payments too. Still didn't track.
