        Is the PS5 Pro referenced above the same thing as we bought in 2022 (we got the one with the drive) - also for something like $750 I think.

        Wondering if the 'Pro' means something compared the the original version(s)?

    Samsung S26 phones currently a pretty good deal on EPP stores. Was valid on Govt/AIA that I have access to.
    As per email:
    Code: PDSD-W20E (says up to 100 redemptions)
    S26 256GB - $1079.40
    S26 Ultra 256GB - $1529.40
    Fold 7 512GB - $1824.50

    They also have trade-in boost (or accessories) of $250 when buying the S26 Ultra. Might also be on other models but didn't check. No other codes I tried including from their support chat could stack.

    I traded in my S23 Ultra 512GB to a S26 Ultra 256GB and was charged $769.40.

    If you're just looking for mince to make burgers or meatballs then this is a decent option.

      last time I tried to price match at mitre10 they told that because it wasnt local they had to include shipping in the cost of the item which of course then meant that mitre10 was cheaper

      My local warehouse store refused to price match, claiming that the competitor was not a local Pak'nSave and that the offer was not for all pak n save. I explained that these requirements do not appear anywhere in the price match terms and conditions and asked him to review the policy. The manager was quite dismissive and repeatedly stated that they would not price match at all.
      What would be the best way to lodge a complaint? Do complaints of this nature usually have any impact, or are they unlikely to change anything?

        If it actually matters enough to you, then you should complain.

        I suggest:

        First time - Tell the store that you will be complaining to head office and make sure you do. Making an idle threat, and not following through, trains them to ignore such things, and encourages the behaviour that you presumably dislike. Head office is likely to apologise, send you a voucher, and probably give the store manager a ticking off.

        Second time - Tell the store that you will be complaining to head office and make sure you do. Complain to head office (making sure they know it is the second time for that store). I suggest also making it clear to the head office person that if it happens again, you will complain to the Commerce Commission (and perhaps note that other retailers have been prosecuted for this - NL last year, and Bunnings prior to that at least).

        Third time - Tell the store manager that you will be notifying head office that you are going to complain to the CC, and make sure you do both. Making an idle threat, and not following through, trains them to ignore such things, and encourages the behaviour that you presumably dislike. This might mean that the store manager gets a formal warning (whether they did or not previously).

        Most people won't be bothered to do it properly - I get that, but good on ya if you do.

        Will the CC do anything? Not on the basis of your complaint, but they will if enough people are doing it, so yours could potentially be the one that tipped the scales!

        If you complain to the head office place they will usually do something for you like give you a voucher or tell the store to honour it, but then next time it can happen again and again. After last time i boycott them
