I’ve been keeping an eye on Instant Pots, tossing up between the 8L Pro and the 5.7L Pro Plus.
Both have an RRP of $499 but regularly go on sale.
Noticed with the current Afterpay sale, they’ve dropped the RRP of the 8L Pro to $300 and then applied the 30% off, bringing it down to $210.
If you subscribe to their emails, you can also get an additional 10% off code (seems to be unique).
They used to offer $50 off your first order, but I can’t see that anymore.
Not sure if it’s intentional or a price error, but for $189 shipped, I pulled the trigger.

Just sent my replacement Instant Pot back to Noel Leeming after it failed in near the same way, now going to be 2 weeks for them to "assess" it.
Bought it, used it once, on the second time the saute button no longer worked, clicked fine, every other button worked fine, but that button was completely non-responsive.
Took it back (around 3 days after buying it) and they replaced it on the spot.
The replacement has been great for around 2 weeks, using it 3-4 times a week, and two days ago the two middle preset buttons are now completely unresponsive, same as the first one but different buttons. I can press all the other presets and they work fine, but those two presets are ignored and don't light up. I can use manual mode to achieve the same, but if those buttons have failed I expect the controller is bad and other buttons will follow suit in time (and probably after the warranty goes).
When I get this one back, if it faults again I'm going for a refund because there's obviously something seriously wrong with the control boards, I don't suspect the rest of the device has faulted in any way, just that the controller governing the buttons has failed.
I wouldn't recommend an Instant Pot, which is a shame, because I have the wide Rio model and the short, wide pot has been better than any of the alternatives.
