10% can only use for full price item? Was cheaper the other day price beating at Briscoes for $169. I am currently just waiting for any sales that can bring it down further.

    • It lets me apply the 10% off at check out, but probably worth waiting for it to come back on sale at Briscoes.

      • Anyone know can we price beating at Briscoes with the checkout price ($180 in this case), and get another 10% + use the new user $10 off all together? Then it will be $152

        • Dont think they will for online shops, most placea dont

    'Girthier Food'

Might have to try that expression out on 'she who must be obeyed' to see what the reaction is.

I suspect I'll regret it in the long run, but what the hell!

  • Where do I go to get the 10% first order discount? I can't seem to find the option on the website.

    • I had to goto the sites homepage for it to appear, it's a red box bottom left corner

      • Ah OK. I was on mobile, not sure if that made a difference. But I created an account and I got an email not long after with a code. Thanks.

I bought one of these the other day (Noel Leeming and Briscoes both had it at $199).

    I've used it twice…and it's already broken.

The saute button is just 100% unresponsive, like, it clicks nicely but the device doesn't even recognise its existence, and I know I'm using it correctly because it worked the very first time, and never again. Weirdly every other button works fine, and there's no issues with pressure cooking.

Other than that, on the first cook it absolutely lived up to my expectations of it, cooking in it first was dead easy, and that was confirmed by my second use where I had to saute first in a separate pan because of the fault.

    Taking it back in today.

    • In this case do you get a refund or replacement?

Shruggie, my bet is they'll try and push "send it back for repair" which I'll decline due to the short timing. However I want a replacement, the first cook was genuinely a great experience.

I guess if this is anything to go by, a year is a long time for warranty.

The saute button has a delay after pressing before it starts, just press it once and wait a few minutes. Yours might be faulty, but just mentioning the delay for your information.

        Sweet, it is faulty.

Returned mine to Briscoes yesterday and got a replacement I haven't opened yet.
Steam was coming out from the right side.

      • +1

I had a small amount of steam come out the side as it was pressurising, but it stopped when the pressure built up so I didn't worry about it, I just assumed the pressure pushed the lid up a little.

Got a replacement today for the saute issue.

Wow, looks like these aren't made that well? What a bummer. I liked this one because of the wide base and stainless steel pot. Now I’m not sure if I should even get it—the standard 8L Duo seems to have way better reviews. :(

      • I had a bit of that too first time I used it. I'll need to watch when I use it again as I wasn't sure if it was user error with the seal or not.

      • New one is working ok. Old one had steam coming out from the right side when pre-heating.
