A discount on this OLED monitor. Usual price around $1,700 so worth it if you are itching for an OLED. Well reviewed and my impression of Dell monitors - quality and support - is rather positive.

Gloss is better for OLED Matte wahes out the colours. Gloss is better for colours in general but if your paying this much for a monitor the visual quality really matters.

I subscribed to their mailing list and got a 7% code valid till the end of next month. 2% is 2%.

How do you do that? How long does it take to get the code?

I must have clicked a link on the site while browsing recently, was pretty instant I think.

@Fragluton: I realised I was as already on their mailing list, so signed up with a different email and it worked. Thanx

Great price!
Just a shame the ultrawide OLED didn't get the same pixel layout (and potentially other) upgrades the 16:9 OLEDs did. Same panel design as the last model, but with higher refresh. The 16:9 got a better pixel layout for nicer text. Hard to argue the price though. Also tempted by the VA version @180hz for ~$750 with 7% signing up code.- 0

I couldn't resist. I had been watching reviews of all of the OLED / higher end VA UW 1440P monitors for a while now.
$1,263.15 with 7% sign up code, also says I will earn around $100 worth of Dell Reward points, whatever they are.- 0

Dell reward points (for NZ) are essentially store credit… but it expires after a few months, and it can't be used to pay for the whole order (you have to pay at least $50 with money).

Yeah the dell rewards system is BS with the 3-4month expiry and can only be used in $10 increments
- 1

Yeah seemed pretty shit after looking into it. The $50 part takes the cake.

Would topcashback actually work with this?

Would it be a waste to use an OLED monitor solely for daily tasks rather than gaming, especially when my PC only has an integrated GPU?
- 1

Yeah, unless you're a Movie/TV buff and watch exclusively on your monitor or do colour work, you're better off with IPS if you want good colors, or just cheap VA for normal use
