    As someone who's worked in IT for the past 15 years as DevSecOps and Solutions Architect, and having worked with many security consultants at large corporations (including banks), I can tell you the common consensus is you don't need a 3rd party antivirus. The built-in Windows Defender is fine and it's more about how you use the internet that matters.

            @ChoiceChips: POLi actually implemented open banking for some banks, Westpac at least. So you no longer need to give it your username and password. You are rather redirected to the official Westpac online banking or app for payment. So it is no longer considered dangerous under these circumstances.

              @patwobbly: Did read about that, it's a good start, but until they've completely removed their mitm style login flow, it's probably safer to recommend avoiding if someone is unsure about the difference.
