Switch 2 pro controller down to $118.66 with this which is much cheaper than I've seen it elsewhere. Maybe one day it'll go lower considering the old one works other than waking the console up.

    • 'other than waking the console up' I bought the new one and I didn't even know this. That's riddiculous!

      • I think there is other differences like hd rumble 2, headphones jack and the gl/gr buttons, but thats the most annoying change that would drive me to replace the switch 1 version.

Get your eneloops. $17.55 for a 4 pack of AA or AAAs.

    • How do you do that? I only managed to get them down to $21.07 with the code, regardles of CSC being there or not

You need to be CSCBG Premium (not Main) and then apply the F&F discount code.

        • Ah, cheers! Thing was I was looking at the Pro ones

    • Are the pros worth the extra 3-4 bucks?

      • +1

        Yes,more capacity, more charges

      • +7

Depends on what devices is being used in. Generally not worth it unless you have a high discharge rate device that chews through them fast.
The pro has 25% more capacity and handles fast discharge better.

Standard have 2100 discharge cycles, pro only have 500. Standard retain 70% charge after 10 years. Pro only rate 85% for a year. Much better to get standard for long term or infrequent use.

The pro are also just a tiny tiny bit physically larger. I’ve come across a couple of things where the pro has to squeeze into the compartment that would fit the standard (or a regular battery) just fine.

    • $17.95 with Farmlands :D

I've been waiting for a discount on a PS5 disc drive. They've been sitting at $139 since I got my digital console. This discount brings the drive down to $132.37. Only a few bucks, but wow I really hate paying retail for anything haha.

  • Looking to buy the Breville BES870, please post if anyone found a deal cheers!

Wait for Briscoes next 50% off sale (possibly Matariki weekend), then it should be down in the $550-$600 range.

    • The BES875 model is $600 st Costco.

Missed opportunity for promo code 'FAFO' …

  • The items I checked were still cheaper elsewhere even with CSC & this discount code.

    • +1

Yes definitely worth checking the price online before committing to a purchase.
When these deals originally came out years ago you could only get the price by physically going in-store. At least it’s fairly quick to do so now online.

Used to work in consumer electronics, and cost plus GST, although technically correct, is a little misleading.

You think "Cost from the supplier, plus GST", but unfortunately it includes staff costs and store costs to NL (amongst other things, so total cost to Noel Leeming), so really just used as a "hype" statement.
