    Hi @gotyourback, i had issues with two Temu orders that would not tracked and i submitted reqeusts with order numbers and screenshot and they both are declined. Do you know what has happened?

      Same here, got 4 orders that weren't tracked and the missing Cashback requests were rejected. Raised thru customer support and they said it is under investigation without ETA

        Ugh trip.com takes forever. It's apparently not until up to 180 days after travel ends… I will have been waiting for mine for over a year after purchase.

          They straight out declined it saying "Trip.com said no" and couldn't give me any other reason when I asked.

          I only shopped there due to the cashback and subsequently paid a little extra, but I am not giving up though. The last correspondence I had after their 3 "thorough investigations" and closing of the case was asking me to show proof of my stay at the accommodation. But my purchase was for flights hahah. Very thorough.

          I recently booked a nights accomodation in July in Fiji and the 13% cashback rate tracked soon after booking. $293.82 and $38.20 cashback was tracked. I would be opening a missing cashback case and providing a screenshot of your booking.

    @gotyourback bought a $26 item on similar cashback deal for chemist warehouse where my cashback should have been $10. But my account shows just $0.26 cashback from that transaction. False advertising much?

    I had good experieces with Shopback origianally, but over the last month I've also had (mostly but not all) failed tracking, despite no changes to my workflow. Seems like a pure gamble :-/

      Same. Since Christmas it only tracks reliably for Doordash for me and Reporting Missing Cashback is taking longer and longer to be reviewed, and even then there is no guarantee that they actually respond correctly. I had one rejected after waiting over a month for it to be reviewed, even though it tracked a click and I uploaded a reciept proving the purchase. You cant review your support requests through the website and if you try do it through the app its very buggy. Honestly they seem to be making it difficult on purpose so they dont have to pay out, kinda scammy in my opinion

    @gotyourback I saw yesterday Mightyape had 8% cashback until the 11th, no cap. Then today it says 20% with $20 cap.
    Does that mean I get a further 8% cashback on amounts over the $100 min spend to get the $20 cap, or does it mean that todays deal is lower than yesterdays for large orders and the fact it said it was current till the 11th was simply false?

      Great question — I can definitely see how that would be a bit confusing! 🙈

      The 20% cashback with a $20 cap is a separate promo that replaced the previous 8% uncapped offer. So unfortunately, it doesn’t stack — and for larger orders, the earlier 8% offer would’ve actually given more cashback.

      Yes, but the status for my May 3 order gives a confirmation date up until 31 August. Chatbot says - 📣 Cashback tracking for Shein orders placed since March 17th is currently delayed. We're working with Shein to resolve this quickly. Thank you for your patience.

    Bought a MacBook m4 on release day, 1% cashback and no mention of exclusions on the M4 chip (assume they hadn’t updated their website since it was only just released) but they are refusing to honor the cashback.
    I even posted the deal on here, so I assume a few people bought expecting a cashback since the t&c’s didn’t exclude at the time.
    First time using ShopBack and it’s been drawn out and hard work with no reward.

      are you keen on joining a class action , at the end of the day I can understand when things go wrong but I've tried speaking with customer service and basically they just say blah blah we don't care, the simple fact that they are still advertising is misleading in the commerce commission does not like this kind of thing.

      My advice would be shop back steps up and realizes temu is taking them for a ride and destroying their reputation, remove them from the service, as far as I'm concerned they are scam

        Not for $40 to be honest. But I will never buy from Temu via Shopback again due to this poor experience. I never had this with Chemist Warehouse. @gotyourback I thought you should see this. Something needs to change between Temu and you guys.

          Yeah this ^^ totally - if purchasing from Temu, just can't be bothered…anything else I will take a look at Shopback to see if there is anything on offer.
          Shopback should know this experience is damaging their reputation - there are enough threads on this site alone.

        In Australia I've seen that some users on OzBargain will make a complain to the ACCC and that gets the cashback claim sorted. So we could collectively start cc'ing in emails to the Commerce Commission ([email protected]) and that might get the ball moving. It seemed to help with Samsung and their scammy trade-in practices.

    I got more than $500 in cashbacks over the previous years and for some reason they started being rejected without warning. Especially for Temu, on days where cashback is high. Had two orders fail cashback on the 70% cashback day. Starting to wonder if this is malicious

      will you join the class action lawsuit? , I've now been in contact with a reputable law firm in New Zealand and although we are in the early stages it seems to me we can make a run at shopback this misleading behaviour.

      And I agree that temu is particularly misleading also

    Forget temu . They don't track , no point putting in missing cash back requests as they get deleted no reply . All shop back says is below and they are a scam…….. it's Hi ShopBack user,

    We’ve seen some TEMU Cashback claims not track or be rejected, and we know that’s been disappointing. These issues often come down to how TEMU validates transactions on their end — some of it is out of our direct control, but we’re definitely not ignoring it. We've already flagged the rising concerns to the relevant teams internally and are pushing for a deeper review of what's happening with TEMU tracking and validation.

      What is the point of contacting support if this is the default rejection reply I know I'll get? I just got 2x $40 cashbacks from Temu denied after contesting them being considered "invalid cashback". I would never have placed my orders if there was no 70% cashback. I'll DM you.

    shopback is scamming people and its not ok! im going to return all my temu stuff in protest because shopback will not honour its agreements
    additionally I am giving them till monday and then im going to the commerce comission, they are aware temu has scammed people using them and they will not honour it .
    It's like the other day for example they were offering 70% cashback capped at $40, so like any good bargain hunter wood of course I ordered like 65 dollars worth of stuff, so did my mum and of course it was not tracked and they will not pay back that money and I will take them to court of it

    TEMU offered 100% cash back capped at 30$. Made a purchase of 28.40 $ After it got tracked only for 21.30$. Have no idea whats wrong with this.
