The mixed read / write random performance is nothing short of awful with the Silicon Power S60. The drive is still faster than a hard drive, but this isn't a hard drive review.
Heh. So not a bad HDD replacement but certainly not the thing to go for if you want performance. But for the price, good deal.
That was the discussion I had with Hamza before I was posting this (Obviously beaten to the gun) but my thinking was that if you are only wanting a small, cheap, drive like this then you probably wouldn't be after blazing performance. It'd be a good OS/boot drive regardless though, for the price, or a handy cheap spare to carry incase of issues.

Purchased one for the wife to replace a bung HDD, not the best SSD available, but will do the job for some low end stuff.
