  • Also some good deals at serverpartdeals.com at moment a 20TB exos for $363NZD + shipping

Ordered my last drives from them with no issues

    • Exos are noisy compared to WD red or Ironwolf right?

      • Yeah I think so but I haven’t noticed myself as server is in the attic

        • Ya, no go for me. I have my server in my room and can't bear the clicking noise. Need a quite drive. Happy with ironwolf 12tb & 4tb, so will stick to it.

    • +1

How much did shipping run you?

      • I think shipping is around $50-$70 depending on NZ location but was fast
Could possibly get it cheaper via a reshipper

    • Do they charge Gst?
      They are selling a "refurbished"
Dell Exos X18 ST18000NM002J for $164usd with $60 USD shipping to NZ.
Would you trust a refurbished drive from them?

      • They don't charge GST (well didn't last time for me)

Yep I trust the "manufacture recertified" drives, I ordered 2x X14 12TB drives from them in April,
SMART data was all clean, had about 30 hours online
I ran an unraid preclear on them and they have been running 24/7 since

I see it more as they have been more tested by the manufacture than a standard drive you receive.
