  • Yes, I am able to bundle good night's plan with fixed broadband.
    They have increased the fixed broadband price though.
    Last time I signed up with $300 credit offer, the fast fibre plan was for $60 pm, now it's $70 pm.

    • Do they increase the electricity price when you bundle bb.
      Contact is quite sneaky and gives you different pricing (even for the same plan) when you bundle stuff.

      • No they don't I called them yesterday, also my electricity is on fixed term anyway.

      • No you cannot, $300 offer ends 31/12/2022. This is a new offer from 09/01/2023 ~ 31/03/2023

      If you click the join us link in the post you have to either choose broadband deal or good night plan (which bumps the bb plan price from 70 to 75)

  • Internet in NZ is very expensive! Just saying.

    • I'm looking to swap in a few months and its frustrating that everyones gone all in on bundled internet+power+gas together to get most discounts now, rather than broadband alone for the promos. I do wonder if this is because the utility companies were restricted in the sign up promos they could do for power, so now they are attaching the sign up promos to internet instead.

  • how do you guys find Contact broadband like now? Reading geekzone, they seem to find Contact broadband is horrible and advised to stay with the big ISP (spark/voda/2deg) but they are dated <2021.

    I'm looking to find a better provider in March. Tried to join 2degrees but they said even if I join today, they won't guarantee i get the broadband compare deal as it expires this week and it's too far in future for me

  • Have been with contact broadband on fast fibre plan for over a month now. No issues so far.
    Got TP link deco x50 router from Contact.
    Connection process and interaction with customer care was smooth. no hassles at all.
    I am mostly working from home no issues with network and speed so far.
    Netflix runs smooth too.

  • How do everyone get that 3 months deal? Tried signing with contact but didnt see any deal ;(
