    been with them for 1year and half. seems to be ok, make sure to call them up and negonitate after first year.

    • Were you able to get a retention offer for signing for another 12 months? I'm coming off my first 12 months and my price is going up from 55 to 60 hoping I can get a discount

  • Cheapest fibre in nz, and it's alright. Use own router though so can't comment if that's any good.

    • I use their Kaon AR2140 and it's actually not bad, I have a 160m house and I get signal everywhere inside the house.

  • I am with them on a $50 deal and it is ok. But they stuffed up my connection initially and put it in the second line rather than doing a transfer Make shoe you cancel your old connection on a certain date to not get charged twice

      Submitted around 430pm, and just received a call now 530pm to sign up.

      Originally only offered deal on their site, and had to ask a cheaper deal.

    Speed is great no complaints, modern rental included (basic but quite good)

    People on the 100Mbps speed… Anything that you can't do? How is the high def streaming?

    • 100 Mbps is more than enough for streaming

      For years we were on gigabit but recently had to move to 100/20, just me and partner and both gamers and watch youtube, high def movies, it's fine, only issues is when a game updates on steam then it can kill the speed, but if you limit the download to 80Mbps then everything is fine still, that is the only difference we have noticed so far.

    • It all depends how many people are heavy users. But for most families I think it will be fine as long as you don’t have multiple children why are heavy users. But a flat may struggle.

    • Im alone at my place and was on 500 but just went down to 100, the only annoying thing is when i watch a YouTube vid itll sometimes take 1-5 seconds to load and start….. and then its because it was loading up a minute long ad.

  • Ive been with them since last year. Its ok for now.
    They offered a similar deal at $75 but i 'negotiated' and got them down to $70 a month.

    • was that through you calling them or through them calling you after you registered on broadband compare

  • Managed to get the $75/month offer with first month free as well, once I told them that I was already paying $75.

    I haven’t received any confirmation email however, it was all done over the phone - should I be expecting this?

  • When you say new customers - does that mean totally new to Sky, or new to Sky Broadband (already have sky box).

    • I presume the latter: New Sky Broadband customers and existing Sky TV customers.
