Disney+ is finally available in Turkey and much like some of the Netflix workarounds it is possible to get this for a significantly reduced price with a little bit of effort.
I have been trying this for a few days now without success and finally managed to get it to work last night.
My initial attempts came up with error messages like 'google pay purchases are not supported in your country' and even got a 'due to suspicious activity we have blocked your Disney account'.
If you read through the OzBargain post you will see a lot of different methods - VPN/No VPN, Phone/Computer.
The below is what worked for me. I did this twice with a years subscription and a month using both a Wise card and NZ credit card so can confirm it works.

Charge on Wise card for the year was $34.23 or $3.45 for the month on my Westpac Card. By comparison it is $129.99 for the year or $12.99 per month here.
Note the VPN is only required for setup it is not needed afterwards.

My method:

Factory reset Android Phone
VPN to access Turkey (I used Windscribe which you can get 10GB free per month)
Credit Card - I have tested this with both a Wise card and my NZ Westpac Credit card

Steps

Factory reset android phone (I had a spare Galaxy A10)
Create new Google Account - name, DOB etc
Choose Gmail address - skip the phone number
Go to Play Store
Download Windscribe (this is what I used but any VPN that can access Turkey should be fine)
Turn on VPN and set it to Turkey (on Windscribe use Turkey-Istanbul-Ataturk which is free)
Go back to Playstore - Payments & Subscriptions - Payment Methods - Add credit/debit card
Change country to Turkey (as soon as I did this I had to repeat the payment process but it worked)
Postal Code: 06010
Save
Download Disney Plus from Playstore - still had VPN on so it was slow even though file was only 18MB
Once downloaded turn off VPN
Open Disney App and choose sign up now
Should see prices in TRY - 34.99/month or 349.90/year
Enter email, password
You should now be able to complete signup.
Disney+ can be watched on your other devices without the need for VPN going forward.

Been trying on and off for 2 days and finally got it to work!!

Created a new Google account on a reset phone (not sure if this is required).

installed windscribe

opened a incognito window with vpn on and set to turkey.

Searched Disney + on browser there is an option to pay via the website.

entered payment details (anz debit), vpn still on and it worked!!! :D

  i tried this method as well, failed at the payment step as it says the country of registered ( assume that means Turkey) is different to the country of origin of credit card

Finally I made it works after several days on/off trying. Basically I followed fishbomb instructions but as many pointed, I had that common problem which the Google Payment failed.

Thanks to fishbomb's comment I was able to get this to work without even needing a VPN.

Create new Google account on phone
Delete cache in Google Play Store (not sure if needed)
Select new account in Google Play Store
Add payment method and select Turkey as Country.
Uninstall Disney+ if you have it installed ###(IMPORTANT!!! don't skip this step, power cycle phone if necessary)
Open Google Chrome/browser on your phone in an incognito window. Set your window to desktop mode.
Search Disney+ on Google Play store in your browser.
Log in on new account and remote install Disney+ to your phone

Install free Windscribe VPN. NORDVPN DOESN'T WORK. idk why. It just does not. Tried with many of its servers.

Connect to Turkey (get Istanbul if u can, but i don't think this matter too much beyond luck)

Force close Disney+ app and Google Play Services app AND clear cache. (i think this is my biggest point of what i got stuck with before)

Open Disney+ app on phone and pay in TRY.

Are you guys able to get Disney plus working with a virtual WISE card? I followed the steps and I see payment amount in turkish currency but it fails google payment. thoughts?

      There are a few different methods that others have mentioned in the thread when they couldn't get my method to work.

  All I can say is keep trying.
  It took me a few attempts to get it to work and you can definitely use your Wise card.
  I even had a Disney account blocked for suspicious activity on one of my attempts so ended up creating a completely new account.

      No I wouldn't have thought so.
      It works using the Google subscription service which I assume should be the same for both tablet and phone (but I don't know for sure as I usually use iPhone!).
      
      As long as you are using a completely new google profile (that's why I used a factory reset phone to make sure but others have found this not necessary) then it should work.
      
      Be interested to see if anyone else got this to work using a tablet as opposed to a phone.

        @Alan6984: Having said that, for GoogleOne, I VPNd to Turkey, created a new Google account, added a Turkish payment profile (including my Wise Virtual Card Details), and then Google's pricing was shown in TRY.
        
        I would definitely not use any existing Google account that I cared about to do something like this, just in case it caused issues down the track (Google Play Store apps for Turkey for example).
        
        Disney+ could well be different of course - I haven't tried that.

No luck doing this. Tried multiple Wise cards and multiple new google accounts. All failed at the last step after selecting the payment method. Error message is "Your transaction can't be completed. To continue this transaction, use a different payment instrument or contact us".

This message is coming from google pay. I wonder if they have added something new to prevent this? Has anyone signed up successfully recently with this method?

I don't know if it's wise or Google play. As I managed to get a transaction through on the play store with the same wise card Disney is rejecting

  I used the same wise card for Argentina YouTube premium and Turkey Netflix without issues. My Westpac credit card doesn't work either.
  
  Also I can use the same card/payment profile to buy and refund a game from Turkish play store. Just can't sub to Disney plus.

I finally got this to work. Follow all the steps everyone else took, however i needed to update my physical address to Turkey in google play as well as having turkey down on my card. I was required to complete a verification code through WISE card

I then made a purchase through playstore for 2 try after that it worked. I only used VPN when updating my address to istanbul mcdonalds for my creditcard and residential address. I was only able to sucessfuly do this for a monthly sub

    i almost gave up. Hopefully my monthly payments go through smoothly or i manage to successfully convert to a yearly subscription.
    Seems like it snuck through due to the google play purchase. If anyone else wants to take a gamble on this method. Fruit Ninja is 2 try and i believe you can get it refunded if cancelled soon enough
    
    Heres a quick run down for anyone else who is stuck
    
    Open new Google account
    Set up payment using Turkey as country, update physical address on account to match
    Download disney plus while connected to VPN in desktop and incognito mode
    Make any purchase on google play. Earn 2 die is 0.59 try
    Sign up and pay now i believe the key to this is how quickly you sign up after your google play purchase

        I left that the same, but there is a section in your google profile to update your physical address and i updated that to Turkey. I think i found it under settings in the google play profile
        
        i'm not sure if it was that or the google play purchase that got it through, still no luck converting to a yearly subscription though. Im getting the same error i was getting before

This is awesome thanks. Just got a new phone so thought I'd give it a go as my flybuys month just finished too. Worked first time easily and was only $31.71 on wise card. This will keep the wife and kids happy for a while.

      If you had an existing account with Disney, you can delete that Disney account from Account settings or create an alias of your email, for example. [email protected].
      
      This has nothing to do with a stolen credit card, the seller is providing you a promo code.

Just got this working. Chur bigcheese and everyone in the comments. Ozbargain method mostly worked for me, but use Firefox on your phone to access the Google play store website as chrome kept opening the play store app instead. I also had Turkish windscribe on the entire time. Teşekkür ederim!

Thanks - just followed the Android method, didn’t restore from new just signed out of my Google account and made a new one on device when opening play store.

However, when I went to buy for the year, it said 349TRY/month, not year, but had Disney+ yearly. I want to subscribe to the year since the price is increasing in December, but not keen on paying 349/month if it’s not a glitch lol. Anybody else get this?

Worked perf with my BNZ card and monthly 34.99TRY tho!
