That's mostly for WD drives. Seagate doesn't need this.

Just a tip, if you want a big hard drive, buy a USB 3.0 external drive and shack it to get the drive inside. These usually sells way less...

You mean the adapter? It is a Kingston MobileLite G4 which supports UHS-II cards.

Bought one and did a simple file copy test. Using a USB 3.0 adapter this card's write speed maxed out at 15MB/sec. Quite disappointing...
