It's Free Endless Data, all weekend long.

To celebrate the kiwi summer Skinny is giving you 2GB mobile data at max speed for free! All you need to do is make sure you're on a $16 or above monthly plan. Easy as.

Make sure you have the latest version of the Skinny mobile app to get Free Endless Data Weekends. Starts every weekend from 5pm Friday to midnight Sunday until 13 March 2022.

Speeds reduced to 1.2 Mbps after free 2GB data allowance exceeded. This will impact your service. Last weekend ends 13 March 2022. Starts 5pm Friday and ends midnight Sunday. No rollover or gifting. Skinny T&C’s apply.

    I think that was the case last time as well. I could be wrong. I remember activating it I think many times.

    I never activated last time. I think they give you the option to turn it off so you can use your monthly allowance at full speed rather then unlimited at reduced speed after you have used the 2GB

    I think Robbert is correct - the extra 2GB of data for the weekend is automatic and free, but the 'endless data' (albeit at reduced speeds) that kicks in after the 2GB (I guess) you have to turn on in the app.

    I could be wrong though, so check for yourself.

      i think you explain it better, its opt in rather than opt out (for the slow speed after the free 2gb)
