  • This looks like a great deal. Any thoughts on the warranty situation if buying from Amazon?

    • There was a brief discussion on Amazon warranty in a previous deal I posted.
I don't have any personal experience however.

      This might help

    • Amazon (and most US retailers) only has 1 months or so return policy. After that the warranties are handled by manufacturers. So it’s really up to Acer whether they provide international warranty or not. I previously bought Lenovo thinkpad and Sony vaios which both had international warranty (but expect long turn around time as they most likely won’t have parts for overseas models)

      • Acers global warranty only applies if you got it in person overseas(ie not directly imported from the US to NZ). They don't want to reduce profitability of their supply chain here by allowing it and shipping parts for SKU's not targeted here costs more.

  • +1

Any shipping delays from Amazon US at the moment?
