I am getting invalid mobile number using warehouse mobile
I’ve the app and free voucher but gas stations attendants aren’t able to redeem it.
I’ve already tried couple of mobil stations and seems like the staff have no clue about this at all.
Is there a trick that I’ve missed or is it useless?
Same for me. Tried it at 2 stations but both times the attendants told me they don't accept the app.
My brother had success with it yesterday but his account still shows the voucher as available so I don't think the attendant redeemed it properly.
He got the most expensive carwash (The Works) $17 one.
The app has just been released and I found that the message hasn't been conveyed to the different stations, also I have found that some do not accept it (at this time) but others do.

I redeemed it at Mobil ormiston yesterday, got the $18 one. Good thing they offer brush/touch free option aswell.

I tried at Sydenham and CBD today - they both said I couldn't use it. "Not yet released to the public."
The person at the CBD station told me to come back tomorrow though when the manager was in as they'd know how to redeem it.

Just downloaded the app, it is now not working. "…now under emergency maintenance."
It's working again now mate and my voucher for free car wash is still there so most likely a urgent bug or security issue they found.
I used the app today. The attendant again said they don't accept the app but I asked for the manager and he scanned it for me.
It looked quite simple. All he did was select the Works carwash then take my phone and scan the QR code. Maybe call the station first and check if they're accepting it

The app is very new, I was the very first customer at Mobil Botany that used the app. The staff had to get a printout of the instructions from head office for it to work.

I used the App at Mobil Poenamo last night. Attendant scanned the code then proceeded to ring his manager, then printed the code ($18) car wash. Just went onto the app and I can still redeem a free car wash lol

update: Just went to Mobil Wairau Road and tried to redeem the car wash again but after scanning he said the free car wash wasn't showing under my account even though it still shows on my phone
Heya thanks for this. They stuffed up my Smiles rewards, and head office promised they would fix things. Almost a year later and they did absolutely nothing, so yeah, it's payback time lol.
Due to water restrictions in places like Auckland and Northland, car wash services will be shut down from tomorrow :-( I hope the app freebie will still be available next year.
