Sony WH-1000XM3 NC Headphones Black/Silver $419.20 + Shipping @ The Market

30
LABOUR60

Noel Leeming is selling Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones for only $419 at the moment if you use the above The Market Labour Weekend discount code. While not the cheapest price you could get them for, this is by far the cheapest option if you want to buy from a reputable brick-and-mortar store in NZ. Good for any returns if something happens down the line.

  • Dicksmith is selling it for under $400, is it the same one?
    https://www.dicksmith.co.nz/dn/buy/sony-wh-1000xm3-wireless-…

    • Yes, they are the same headphones, the only difference being that the Dick Smith version is an international version. That means the manual may be different, and the packaging may vary slightly. However, that is not the Dick Smith we used to have in NZ. When Dick Smith went under in 2016 and closed all its stores, Kogan bought the brand, and they now operate from an Australian warehouse. Look up some reviews and there are a lot of complaints about customer service, slow shipping, unable to claim warranty and DOA items, etc.

Also, be careful about import duties if you buy from them. The total package value, including shipping, insurance, etc, must be below NZD$400 or you are charged 15% import tax at the border.

        "LABOUR60" - How ironic?

    • This is the cheapest by a mile from a well known, established store in an NZ brick-and-mortar store. If you only care for minimum price the cheapest option has always been an Amazon AU sale. It will make any issues down the line much more of a pain, but that's the tradeoff.

These headphones have been selling for around AUD$310 the last few sales, before shipping.

      • Those are the options you've picked.

People who don't want want to be forced to buy at a particular time and want a NZ supplier, have other options to buy from solid local alternatives.

        • Great, maybe you can contribute those options when you find them.
