Flamingo Scooters have put up posters around Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, containing a QR code that will give you up to 60 minutes for each poster scanned.
Please share photos of any QR codes you find, as well as the location.

It's working for me, after reading your comment I decide to give a delay between each code, 4 deep and or so far still working

Will these expire quickly like the other promo minutes did? If they do, I reckon everyone should 'stagger' the redemption of these codes :)
it says 'some minutes will expire on the 1st Oct'

I found 3 in Christchurch on my cycle in this morning and the last one said I was scanning too quickly despite a casual cycle between them at a rate I could do on a scooter. Locations I found are:
Worcester/Manchester - side of sampan house
Hereford/Manchester- Wilson's car park
By H&M (east facing wall of the building)
I snapped photos but need to sort out hosting them.

Thanks, but it appears that they've reduced the free minutes to 5-10 minutes for each scan now.
@xsolider: They did say up to, only 2 of the codes I scanned gave me more than 10 minutes. I don't think they factored in the internet ruining their treasure hunt 😁
@hiimpengu: I saw another poster tonight but couldn't snap a photo or scan it from where I was without disrupting traffic. It's opposite the bus depot in Christchurch, south west corner of the Tuam and Colombo streets intersection.
The referral link gave me 5 minutes expiring end of month, not 3 free unlocks.
Can't see where the expiry of the scanned codes is.
Terms off the website FYI: Each poster can only be redeemed once. Poster must be scanned in person at the location of the poster. Valid from 16 September 2019 to 30 September 2019. Flamingo has the right to suspend accounts that break these conditions. The winning value is randomly generated at redemption between 5 and 60 minutes. Won minutes are valid for 2 weeks after redeeming. Not available in conjunction with any other offer. $1 NZD unlocking fee still applies.

ok, the ones i added today are 2 weeks. hmmm i hope they take the 2 weeks minutes off first when used
Are there any free unlock codes around at the moment? Referrals don't work for free unlocks anymore do they?
Looks like you need to be by the actual poster now - I get a warning saying my location doesn't match the poster.
Can someone please advise locations of the Auckland posters - or add the locations of the images above?

I turned off location/GPS just before I scan the QR code and it worked.
Pretty neat promotion,I'm guessing theyre going to be close to their designated drop off spots. Up to 60minutes? So what is the minimum?
