Very good price. I have one. We stopped using the regular vacuum cleaner after getting this.

The V6 Handstick vacuum cleaner is powered by the Dyson digital motor V6. It has 20 minutes of run time, and is balanced for floor to ceiling cleaning. The motorised cleaner head has carbon fibre filaments for removing fine dust from hard floors and includes mini tools for cleaning up after your pets. The Dyson digital motor, fade-free battery and 2 Tier Radial Cyclone technology combine to provide powerful, constant suction

$295 at Noel Leeming and then you can get the $10 off voucher to get to $285 https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/household-appliances/vacu…
Looks like a good unit. I'm tempted.

    • Pulled the trigger for $285 from Noel Leeming.

  • Superb price, have to convince my other half its a worthy gadget to have in the house, but…

    • My wife was indifferent to it when I bought it and even thought it was a bit too pricey. But then after a month, she reckoned it was one of the best purchases that we've made.

If you are doing the vacuuming, then yes it is always good for the wifey hehehe

  • how much are we saving at this price?

If you visit PriceSpy for this product and click on the Statistics tab, you can see the price history in red. It looks like it's usually $450 and has been on sale for about $350 twice this year.

  • Everyone selling for this price

    • Yep

  • What are they like?

We have been through a few $100 region bagless units. They start good but eventually clog up. Was considering going back to bagged units even 😱

    • Lots of posts to read through on OzBargain. Seems very popular around this price.

  • I bought a V6 Animal a couple months ago for $485. The only difference is an extra mini motorised head (the main vac head is motorised).

Such a good price for this. Wonder if a new model is coming so they clearing out old stock.

  • how is the battery wear on this? after X years, do you still get anywhere close to 20 minutes?

  • +1

We had some friends buy one and raved about it. You don't realise how great cordless vacuuming is until you own one.

  • +2

It is a good price. We've got 2 of these and have used them for almost a year. Yes, it did replace our regular vacuum cleaner but it's not something that we would rave about. Cordless is convenient but with it lasting only 20 minutes means we become less efficient. We end up doing something else while we wait for it to charge, so the house ends up being dirtier than before we owned this. But that's just us.

Merged from Dyson V6 Slim Vacuum Cleaner $249 @ 100% Albany Extreme - Invite Only - Price Match Only

Even cheaper than the Harvey Norman deal posted. My mistake, the deals are not available to the general public. You may be able to price match though.

    Full flyer

    Offer valid from 4pm - 8pm 13th of July 2017.

    • I've merged your post into here, rather than removing it. We don't allow price match only deals, but it does have some merit with regard to this deal if someone can pull it off. Seems unlikely, but still possible.

      • Fair enough, initially I thought it was a deal open to the general public, that's why I posted it. The price match should work, unless cost + sales are exempt from price matches.

This deal turned into price matching soon after it was posted…

The TV is pretty cheap too - pricespy

Yea, we do allow the cost + deals to be posted, as well as deals containing price match elements. It's just trying to avoid a deal that is exclusively available via price match (Usually a 5%+ price beat) where it's a bit hit and miss.

A good example of this is this deal. The deal is the original product, which actually wasn't too bad in that instance, and the kicker is the option of beating that price via another retailer.

That deal is a bit messy, but the headline is the price after cashback (available via multiple stores) for the single product. Probably could have moderated it better, but it was fast moving and very fluid.

    • cheap!
