      These sims are setup for the mates plan and are limited to 5 per address. The warehouse sims are for all plans and do not have a limit.

          I ordered one last week and can confirm they come with Vodafone Mates branding, and the setup process involved choosing a mates plan. Definitely not a generic Vodafone sim.

          @kiwijunglist: yes they can be used for that purpose. I just mean that they are set up to be used on the 'under 24yrs' mates plan. The 1cent sims are the standard Vodafone sims for use on their other plans.

    I got mine today and they are a blank sims as it has no number associated to it. So I guess they are used as sim swap and maybe also where you want to transfer your current number to Vodafone?

        Yeah they have very limited usefulness, as they are a Sim Swap its basically used for:

        When do I need to do a SIM swap?

        You may need to change your SIM card when:

        • You upgrade to a new handset that requires a different-sized SIM card
        • Your mobile has been lost or stolen
        • You have a faulty SIM card
        • Or, you want a Semble-Ready SIM card.

          Yeah they are free when you are wanting a micro or nano SIMs for your new smartphone. The service to transfer SIM cards is free too (by a staff member).
