I've had a belkin 2.1A (the wall wart in the photo) charger at work and from experience it would not kick into fast charging on any android products I tested.. and i tested LG, Sony, and Samsung. Way always stuck at less that 1 amp.

  Did you test it with the same cable? It could be the cable limiting it to 1 amp.

    Yeah i've got a verity of oem, dumb cables and 1 smart cable that will trigger quick charge 2 on some devices.
    Always meant to test the device with a apple products (esp ipad) and put a multimeter on it.
