They didn't listen to me. Its unfortunate they could have made huge profit. You would be better of getting a home cinema projector for that amount of money and nz it would cost 1800 plus like Epson hc2040.
Just a FYI I found out today, I got an email from Noel Leeming about special store deals in Blenheim from tommorrow, one was a 50 inch full HD TV for $599. I misread and thought it said Panasonic which I thought was a good deal, but it is actually a brand called Platinum. I couldn't find any information online but went to have a look in store, and I thought it looked very similar to a Veon TV except silver. The Store person told me that Platinum is basically a Veon rebranded as Platinum because as you know Warehouse own Noel Leeming, guessing the only difference warehouse is black and Noel Leeming silver.
Also When she turned it on the colours look just as bright as the other branded TVs around them, and when I had a look at warehouse veon TVs they did look washed out, however I think that is probably a lot to do with different store lighting.
The look can also be due to different settings, and so you know, this deal is UHD (3,840x2,160) whereas the one you are referring to is FHD (1,920x1,080)
