    Keep in mind the second fare (If you are booking for 2 passengers) now jumps to $10, still a reasonable $11 for 2 one way, but it used to be multiple for $1 each.

      I noticed that. If you make two separate bookings on the same service, would the second booking be a $1 ticket? I know the second booking would incur another booking fee, but it would be still be cheaper. Would you be interested in this deal, Shaw?

        I think it's just 1 $1 per bus service now. Yea, I booked one way to Wellington early next year, and back on Intercity (Cheaper direct from the airport than getting the bus into the city then up), but the prices jump high fast now, used to be heaps of cheap fares during these sales, guess that's what happens when there are only 2 players.

      Availability is much more limited than it used to be, usually only gettable shortly after new dates are released.

      Check other dates, plus think they are only available from next year.

          Ok sweet, yea searching is key. Got to be flexible with dates though.

          I actually ended up having 2 days in Wellington before we fly out next year (late Jan) so may organise a meetup in the city and give out some shirts etc. when I'm down there.
