      Just reminding folks that NZ Post/Courier Post have recently instigated a new tracking system that enables you to fine-tune the delivery process right up to the last few hours before delivery. Many more options available now. And their tracking notification system has also vastly improved.

        So what you're saying is, you could order hundreds of items from 1-day and have them sent to different addresses. Then redirect them all to your own address using the new NZ Post system. Don't get any ideas Clip It ; )

        Then again, it seems as though 1-day aren't monitoring multiple orders to the same address anyway.

    Mind boggles as to how many induction speakers they have. I think lots. I've ordered a good few now. I have a lot of phones and they need a speaker each as they hate sharing.
    They've made it just too easy to sign up an account and order stuff with no email confirmation needed. [email protected] is gonna get notice his speaker has shipped.

        On a Sportsdirect (UK) deal, they were offering free freight on orders, including NZ. Among the offers were 10kg (?) bags of coal. Think someone worked out that if they ordered 10 (?) it was going to cost Sportsdirect something like $44,000 if they honoured the free freight offer!

      As a freebie, still reckon the Targus Notepad Folio for iPad Air, is useful, even without the iPad. Notebook, pockets, pen holder, card holder, screen wipe, magnetic close, elastic corner ties, solid back. Good enough for a field notebook setup. Originally sold for around US$60, though now about NZ$10 on eBay etc.

          Potentially a silly question. Understanding that the case etc is specifically for the iPad Air.

          But the bluetooth keyboard itself though. As a bluetooth device, could that be paired with any laptop etc which has bluetooth operability?

          If so, it is a cheap extra bluetooth keyboard for such as pairing with your smart TV + Kodi or the like.

          Can't think why it would only work for the iPad Air, other than the dimensions of the case etc. Ideas?

          Yep the case is specifically for the iPad Air. You're right though, it should work with any bluetooth device. I only have Apple products, so I can't really test it with anything else. I'm currently typing this on the keyboard paired with my Macbook Air, so that's a good sign.

          @ClipIt: The keyboard is actually not that small. Just shy of 30cm wide, so about 3/4 size. Comes with micro-usb charging cable. Supposedly about three months operation on full charge. The keyboard slides out completely. So perfect for a backup keyboard at $10. Downside is no touchpad.

      You can also redirect to local Z fuel station, Countdown etc. Lots of new options now. I think 1-Day deliveries default to 'no-signature-required' anyway, so shouldn't matter if you are home or not.

    Wow the Senn's are really nice.

    Got all my packages, siblings stoked with free stuff

    The induction speaker works best when speakers are faced down the middle towards the power button side, so seems for most phones it's better having it stand up on it. Could work well with tablets that have rear speakers.

      If I needed extra email addresses I was just creating new gmail accounts with name variations of people in the house. But others have posted email generator sites etc if you don't want to create a new account every time.
