Worldwide hotels have varied stay dates from 25-40% off - each country is different and is listed on the link. Asia hotels appear to have 40% off for stays from 13 May til 16 October. The sale appears to be a bit hit and miss with some destinations having minimum nights stay required.
I was looking at some hotels in Bangkok and Malaysia and it they seem to have some pretty good rates going including Pullman for $90 NZD or Ibis for $35 NZD per night.
It is valid for bookings made over the next 9 days at participating hotels but tend to sell out so its good to book early. The 40% saving is on the best unrestricted rate.
New Zealand sale period is for stays from 1st June to 30 September 2016.
Sale ends in 9 days, however it appears each hotel has a certain amount of sale rooms allocated so first in, first served.
