Discounts are changing week by week in DickSmith, stock levels vary widely across stores. Smaller less busy stores appear to still have some good deals. This morning saw:

  • GoPro Hero+ LCD $366 (Wellington stock: Lyall bay x 1, Johnsonville x1)
  • Lifeproof Nuud case for iPad $51.60 (White), $67 (Black)
  • Fujifilm instax share $201 then $50 cash back so $150. (5 at Porirua, 4 at Queensgate, 4 at Featherston, 2 at Lyall Bay, 1 at Johnsonville)
  • Chocolat Eneloop AAA 8pk - $11.99 (In store only)

It also appears the discount on Bose products has been increased to 25%, checked prices on three products to verify. YMMV however as I did not check the entire range.

Stock levels vary between store, Featherston St appears to have around 15 total units across all Bose product lines so not a lot in stock. According to stock levels no QC25 nationwide in black or white.

Stock is still being transferred between stores from the smaller stores to larger ones but not on customer request.

    Yea. I'm pondering getting some qc25 (wellington). I've got an old (?8 year old) pair of first generation audio technicia ath anc7, the qc25 is supposed to better but I'm not sure by how much.

      Got them to check stock of QC25 apparently no stock nationwide of white or black.

      Edit: Reason is first week of sale they were accidentally marked down by 30%, so they sold out that week.

      There really isn't much around. Hesitated a little posting these because of stock levels being so variable, but the Bose products are around in a few stores so thought it was at least worth it for that.

      Also the Instax Share is a good price after cash back, lowest previous on PriceSpy was around $190, I presume without cash back.

        For Wellington stock: No CBD stores have stock of these (Manners,Lyall, Featherston).

        Porirua, Lower Hutt, Johnsonville all have stock of 5+

          Yea, AAA, didn't see any AA where I was. None online, but they do seem to have the charger packs and the doubles. No good deals on those yet though.

      No - in Wellington only S5 LifeProof cases at Manners St. No other lifeproof that i've seen at Johnsonville, Lyall Bay, Manners or Featherston.

      Haven't made it out to Queensgate or Porirua however.

      Yeah when I was there earlier in the week they were moving stock from smaller stores to Featherston St. What was the stock? Hair straighteners, nespresso machines etc.

      Think even the staff find it a bit ridiculous.

    Still plenty of those $11.99 AAA-8pk 'chocolate' Eneloops left in Manukau. I suspect its because they haven't changed the RRP tag yet (50 bucks lol). Also noticed the discounts are getting larger now (upto 70%) but only on phone cases only. Other items are still overpriced compared to the xmas fire sale.

          Will grab one this morning, high chances of finding one as all stores in Wellington showing at least 1, with some showing two (Checked stock from Auckland yesterday!).

    Went into Takanini yesterday and some discounts are getting OKish. Highlights:

    Eneloops 8 packs (AAA) - $8.99 (still lots left, no pricing tags)
    Premium boxed speaker cables - 70% off
    Branded cases - 70% off (managed to get an official Samsung tablet case)
    Some AV accessories - 60% off (Got a belkin HDMI splitter for $20)

    The thing was most of the stuff had no pricing or pricing not updated. The guy at the counter suggested getting stuff price checked as they couldn't keep up with the changes.

        FYI AA eneloops should now be included in the 50% off all batteries which began today. I haven't verified this applies to them however i'd assume it does.
