Temu: 40% Cashback (All Customers) @ ShopBack

Temu: 40% Cashback (All Customers) @ ShopBack.

$10 bonus cashback available under quests tab untill 11pm.

Credit: ace310 for pointing out the $10 bonus cash back was now available.

Great time to purchase an electric fat bike and earn up to $1000 cashback.

Suggest using the shopback App.

I recommend taking a screenshot of the order confirmation page showing payment succesful and then clicking on the box which says ship from Temu and taking another screenshot of the order confirmed page as this also shows your order number, ensure the green shopback cashback activated is in the background of both screenshots.

Finally check your click history and if your click hasnt logged cancel your order and start again as your order hasnt tracked.

  • Interesting, usually you can see these coming up on the Shopback calendar but this one came out of the blue.

    • +3

It was showing as up to 80% for today on the calendar. Changed to up to 40% a couple of days ago, then ended up being 40% uncapped for all. It will be interesting to see what it is on the 1st May as currently showing up to 80%. The 40% cashback rate may be as good as it gets now as these offers have been reducing in frequency with the cashback rate reducing at the same time.

  • Normally there is a cap, but i cannot see one?

    • Its uncapped, it was the higher cashback rates of 70% which were capped.

  • The E bike is a great idea. Whats up with import duty on those?
Can get a decent e scooter for under $1000

I dont believe you would need to pay tax as likely a Local seller and or Temu would pay the tax as the items all include tax in the price.

  • I love how these things come along literally hours after I just place an order…ffs haha

Cancel your order or place a new one and return.

    • quickly cancel your order if not shipped yet.

  • I checked.15% gst is collected at the point of sale for over $1000.
So yes an e scooter under $1000 there's no import duty + cashback is a sweet deal.
Saw one for $997 that did 70kph a few months back

    • I purchased two electric scooters which i got with no problems. I then ordered a $900 one which was never dispatched so ended up refunding. I cant see any electric scooters on there at the moment but worth checking leading into Christmas.

      • Search scooter and filter high to low price.
Seems there's 2 kinds, the more expensive one has skinny wee tyre's the cheaper one around $300 has decent looking 11 inch tyres but even that doesn't tickle my pickle.
        No specs

Anyone see the notification saying a bonus $10 for this too? I clicked into it but don't see any mention of it

    • Don't see anything for Temu. Maybe it was some quest or a referral thing. Check your quest tab if you have anything there.

      • Nothing in quests. I did come across this older thread which mentions the same notification. Unsure how to check if there's a bonus for a particular time in the day though

    • I also saw a notification but I couldn't find anything in the app.

Just saw $10 bonus for temu purchases above $50 on quest tab. It was not there in afternoon so something might hve triggered it. You need to join the quest.

      • So glad I waited till 6pm. Thanks for the update too

  • I have never done this, how does this shopback work, so I downloaded the app and went on temu via the shopback app, what happens there after? I pay the entire amount using my card and then? I am looking at a bunkbed for the kids .. :D

    • After a couple of weeks/months, you should receive the cashback in your Shopback app, you can just transfer it to your bank account.

      • thanks

    • Open shopback app, click through to Temu. Add items to cart and checkout as per normal. Just make sure the green cashback activated is showing in the background. Also a good idea to take a screenshot at this stage. After you have placed your order click on your shopback balance as you can access your click history which should show your click through. Cashback is normally tracked into your account within 48 hours then you can withdraw to your bank account after 90-120 days.

  • $118.85 order tracked $38.90 in cashback so approx. 32.7% cashback on your original order value. Order placed 12:10am - 12:40am both tracked.

    • Cashback doesnt include GST.

      • $103.35 GST exclusive @ 40% should be $41.42 = I got $38.90 so the missing $2.52 could be shopbacks commision…

  • thanks managed to cancel my order yesterday and reordered

  • What's everyone buying…?

    • Search the following big brands from highest price for biggest cashback benefits:

      Samsung
      DJI
      Redmi
      Xiaomi
      Huawei
      Philips

  • My first time doing this. I used their app and used Temu through the website clearing my cart before beginning. It says cashback activated on every page including the payment one (which I screenshoted).

But when I look in history it shows 4 lots of 'Checking for Cashback till 28 April' over the hour and a half I was shopping. I did flick between tabs in my mobile browser, does that affect it?

Should I cancel the order and do it all again at once?

I also have a network level ad blocker (pi-hole) but I disabled it when going through the pages.

    • +2

Using their app and buying from within has been very reliable. If it says cashback was activated, you should be fine. It takes few hours to couple of days before it gets tracked.

      • Okay great thanks. It says Cashback activated at the top of each page I went through and I took screenshots of each page including the ships from Temu one with the order number as advised just incase. Though, I don't know if that helps with a dispute if it doesn't track.

I assume I can turn my network ad blocker back on after completing the transaction?

        • +1

Yes. Once order is submitted and payment successful you should be fine.

        • +1

Your screenshots are solid evidence you did everything right if it doesnt track. I purchased a scooter for approx $500 which didnt track once and had to open a dispute with said screenshots. It was supposed to be 50% uncapped, the same day they had a 80% capped at $40 between 12-2pm. I ended up getting $400 cashback at the 80% cashback rate ~ $100 M365 Scooter =)
