  • Today is no cap? But only for new user? Maybe can create new user for “family”?

    • I believe a few sites, like Temu, limit the new cashback rate to once per cashback account and per Temu account. But maybe @gotyourback could confirm.

      • its per temu not per shopback in my experience

  • Anyone have an idea when we might get another 70-80%? i've got a few things i'd like to buy but only at the higher rate personally

    • +1

Doesn't look like they will be back anytime soon

    • +1

Temu have cut down on their in-app promos and coupons too so chances of deals and coupons like before are really low these days

  • Possibly a one off promotion for shopbacks birthday otherwise likely that ship has sailed.

  • How many of you guys are having actual issues proving/receiving/disputing cashback from Temu? Have a friend who had issues, and I'm still trying to get cashback from the last big cashback day.

I have a habit of keeping all the receipts/proof of promo on the day, as they have been pretty useless and even have declined some of my friends. I'm still waiting.

    • It’s a joke, I missed out on $150 cashback last time. Did the purchase literally perfectly. Total hit or miss whether it tracks or not. Seems like bigger purchases are less likely to track.

      • Is @gotyourback here? It's just a Temu major issue. 🙄 I'm still disputing stuff. Not fun, you know?

        Why? 😔

  • +1

Used the last 50% uncspped offer.

Ordered a cat tree foe $161. Initally it showed as $66.40 tracking.

Now has beed downgraded to $46.30 ans I have no idea why.

It's still decent (assuming the tracking completes) i just wish it was more transparent.

    • Do you have a link to the cat tree I'm really interested to see what that looks like.

      • +1

Only use the app unable to link but if you search "floor to ceiling cat tree" it should come up.

It seems decent, relatively sturdy posts, wooden platforms

        • If you goto the product's page and grab the product's "Item ID" and drop it here easier than linking

I really struggle to find anything worth buying from Temu. Any tips welcome.

    • I've bought a whole bunch of fishing equipment for my kayak off there, such as rod holders, trolley kit, fish grips, net, pliers, etc. The only thing I didn't like was the flag pole which was flimsy.

Otherwise weatherproofing strips, wind chime, plant care things (watering bulbs, etc), car lens restore kits, phone holders/sun shields, watch straps/repair kits, gym equipment, cabinet hinges, digital scales, first aid kit supplies, furniture lifting straps, weed eater shoulder straps, plastic welder, soldering iron bits, coffee supplies (tamps, jugs, etc), camping/hiking things (gas replacement valves, gators, etc), sandpaper, sunglasses… Etc etc

Lots of things can be grabbed

    • Lots of small consumable bits and pieces. I did pick up some 3D printer parts and a gamesir controller all for a steal after cashback pays out.

I don't trust temu enough to spend more than about $60 on any given item before cashback but so far the stuff I've got has been largely what you expect from them. Their pricing on things seems inline with AliExpress so once you get 50% back it's a steal.

I definitely wouldn't be buying phones or tablets from there though. Not risking hundreds of dollars in the holes I get my cashback and that the product is genuine.

    • Purchased 2 x Eletric Scooters (one when they were always in stock a couple of years ago and another leading into christmas 25 - none in stock now) Electric bikes are still available. I am really happy with my samsung galaxy watch 8 and galaxy core buds purchased for my partner. There is plenty of good brands on there Samsung, Philips, Lenovo etc

For those having issues with shopback.

Use the app and then link from there on ya phone.

Was having real iffy issues re browsers, but have had 100% success since using the app.

  • When is this 50% off for all customers?

    • 11 Mar

Its shown right above the Report/Bookmark options

  • Assuming you choose free shipping items only $69 should maximize the discount. $69 / 1.15 = 60 giving you $30 cashback. So an effective 43.5% discount at best. Higher spends obvious eat into this.

    • As mentioned below. There is no cap listed on the Shopback app or website today, so seems it is uncapped. Yay!

  • Can't see a cap listed, @gotyourback is there a cap on todays 50% cashback offer?

    • No cap. It would be listed if there was. It was the previous 70% casback promo rates that had caps on them.

      • +1

Hey 👋 Confirming there’s no cap on today’s 50% Temu Cashback offer 👍 If there was a cap, it would be stated in the T&Cs.

Just a few important things to keep in mind though:

        • Items must be added to cart after clicking through from ShopBack
        • No external promo codes
        • One click pay items aren’t eligible
        • If an order is cancelled or refunded, it may become ineligible
        • For partial returns, Cashback will be adjusted accordingly

As always, make sure you activate through ShopBack and complete the purchase in one session 😊 Happy shopping!

        • Thankyou for that

  • I have a $5 credit and a 20% off coupon capped at $20

Thought I would share my working out.

    Purchase of $90 = immediate discount of $23 > $67

    Cashback theroetically $30~

    So it should mean $90 = $37 :)

    Unless i missed something.

    • Unless i missed something.

I might be wrong, but I thought that cashback is neutered by the use of credits and coupons?

      Maybe re-read the T&Cs.

      • I think you don't get cashback on the credit (or coupon) portion that you use. The rest is eligible.

        • I think you don't get cashback on the credit (or coupon) portion that you use. The rest is eligible.

          Okay.

I had thought that using a coupon at all negated the cashback - my bad.

  • I got a notification its 50% plus $10 bonus with min spend but cant find anything about it on app 🤷‍♀️ really helpful!

    • +2

Yea same… No idea what the $10 is in reference to, but I assume it's dodgy marketing making inference to the refer-a-friend.

    • Seems theres a $10 bonus cashback thing from 6pm-midnight for $50 spend

      • +1

The $10 bonus is actually part of a challenge, not a standard Cashback rate.

You’ll need to go into the app → Quest section → find the challenge → tap Join first, then make a qualifying $50 purchase during the promo window to earn the $10 bonus 👍

Make sure you join the challenge before purchasing, otherwise the bonus won’t track 😊 @liz181 @Latex Fist @Dunno

        • -1

Yea that was a bit late of a response. I made a $230 purchase and had no idea about the quest as it wasn't listed anywhere. I'd even scrolled down on the Shopback Temu page beforehand and there was nothing.

        • Thanks

  • Went to checkout as a new user and I says “use only promo codes featured on ShopBack” otherwise no cash back…
Does this include new user promos - I can’t even delete the coupon code it’s baked into the cart

    • +1

If it’s an automatic new user promo applied by the store and you didn’t enter an external code, that’s usually fine 👍 The restriction mainly applies to manually entered codes not listed on ShopBack.

    • I figured out how to delete the coupon, but does anyone know if I need to do this?
      Also does Afterpay work?
      Thank you!

      • Afterpay is generally fine as a payment method, as long as you complete the purchase in the same session after clicking through 😊

  • anyone notice wierd pricing on Temu? search shows different price clck on item different again add to cart different again?? this means sort isnt working and makes it harder to choose

  • For those who have made multiple seperate orders, does Temu generally combine shipping of the packages or keep it seperate?
Looking to buy something that’s a little heavy but might squash the other delicate things so thinking of separating into 2 orders

    • +1

They definetly combine orders. Unless its a local seller then that part of your order should arrive seperately.
